While all of my first scripts were practically unreadable, they were the best time I ever spent. Each minute writing alone in my room led me to study Dramatic Writing (B.F.A) with a minor in Film & Television at the Savannah College of Art & Design. In and out of SCAD, I have written a variety of projects spanning format and subject matter. This includes student-produced short films like “Eyes Without a Face” and full-length screenplays such as “Artificial Intelligence”, which was recognized as a Second Rounder in the 11th Annual Launchpad Pilot Competition. Read more>>

So I got started in the eighteen wheelers detailing after years and years of cleaning. My whole life I have done all types of cleaning. I’m set apart from others because when I put my name on something I do it with pride, honesty, and love. Things a lot of people have forgotten about. I can actually do house cleaning, vehicles, offices, yards, anything that needs cleaning I can do it without hesitation. And I have the credentials to back up what I am telling you. To do a job you have to love what you do to full fill it correctly..and I love cleaning. I couldn’t see me doing anything but that. I love my job I love what I do. Read more>>

My journey into real estate began long before I even knew it. It started with my parents, who immigrated to Savannah, Georgia, from Romania, leaving behind everything they knew to escape communism and build a better future for our family. They worked tirelessly—juggling multiple jobs, pursuing further education, and eventually securing careers at Memorial Hospital and Union Camp. But they didn’t stop there. Read more>>

As my audience grew, I put more effort into refining my editing skills. One day, I had an idea: what if I combined my love for content creation with my passion for travel? I reached out to some local Airbnbs, offering to create content in exchange for a stay. After all, I personally rely on social media to plan my own travels—I prefer watching videos of places over just reading about them. The concept quickly gained momentum, and I ended up collaborating with several Airbnb hosts. That’s when Eventful Creations & Marketing was truly born. Read more>>

I dived into the wonderful world of entrepreneurship totally by happenstance. Back in 2019 I decorated a party for my grandson’s birthday and from there people began to ask me to do their parties. I led with the disclaimer that I had no idea what I was doing lol, but somehow it develop into a full fledge business. Over time, I begin to join event planner groups, YouTube, looking at Pinterest, and just watched others who have been in the industry a lot longer than me and gained ideas and tips on what works and what hasn’t worked. August of this year will make six years that I have been in business and I am looking forward to many more. Read more>>

Donut Dad (Tom)

What got us started down this journey was the desire to create a different future of my children than what I had growing up. I wanted to do life with them. So when they were young I started taking them on daddy dates. We would go get us donuts and I would get coffee. This became a weekly tradition which included a photo to document the time together and a trip to the library and even an adventure in the park. Read more>>

Since my college years, I’ve only blossomed more as a writer, filmmaker, and artist. I’m writing books, helping people edit theirs, shooting short films, developing a television series, finding sparks of joy in my community, and finding new ways to tell the stories I want to tell. Whether it’s long nights staring at my computer, messy scribbled note cards pinned to my wall, and countless cups of coffee—the work isn’t easy, but it’s a privilege nonetheless. Read more>>

It seemed like an obscure choice at the time, but somehow, it clicked. I found myself laughing, connecting with others, and discovering a side of me I didn’t even know existed. Performing original sketches and improv became a surprising source of joy and belonging, something I never expected but ended up loving more than anything else I’d tried before. Read more>>

My interest in art was something quietly present in my early years, but it was my parents who first recognized and encouraged it. That support led me to take drawing classes during my teenage years, which became the foundation for everything that followed. Given my growing passion, I chose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, a field that allowed me to explore a broad range of artistic skills. Read more>>

Since photography was always something I did either as a hobby or a profession, the road to get here has been more enjoyable than anything. I feel so inspired by not only my peers but the world as a whole. Anywhere I go, anyone I meet, and anything I do, my eye finds something it wants to capture. I still face technical challenges but they are challenges that excite me to learn more and keep me curious in my field. They push me and make me better! Read more>>

About a month later, my grandfather passed away and we were making a trip back for his funeral and my wife found a listing for some background acting work. I applied and the next day got a call and email for more photos (and measurements) and was told there was work for me when I return. I was excited as I had always said that when I retire, I wanted to get back into Theater, having been involved in Theater and choir in my past. This is what I refer to as the start of my “second act” in life. Upon returning to Savannah, I proceeded to work on over a dozen or so films that were being made in Savannah over the next year or two. Read more>>

That’s when I met the trademark owner of the Orange Crush Festival. He was facing legal battles and financial hardship, trying to host an event in Jacksonville. What started as a simple opportunity to get my artists on stage turned into something bigger: through a contractual agreement, I became the Owner and CEO of Orange Crush Florida. Read more>>

I used that time to intern with a stylist and independent digital magazine in New York while I figured out my next move. While I was there, my roommate was working for a designer who has a long established relationship with SCAD, and she floated the idea to me to transfer there. I had applied in high school to the now nonexistent Hong Kong campus and had never really considered Savannah or the South in general but the more I looked into the school, the more it felt like the right place for me. I ultimately moved down here in September 2022 and to this day consider that the best decision I have ever made. Read more>>
