Daily Inspiration: Meet Big Glizzy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Big Glizzy.

Hi Glizzy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
It’s a blessing and an honor for y’all to have and get to know me a li’l. Honestly, music has always been a part of me with playing sports and doing little many concerts in the crib, lol. I use to play freestyle around people when I was about 17 but nobody including me took it seriously.

When I finally graduated high school, life hit me hard and earlier than I expected but it gave me the motivation to start writing getting through certain situations, and getting them off my chest. Expressing how I’m feeling; basically telling my story, so I started writing different songs until bout two years I know it might seem crazy but I had a vision I was suppose to be someone BIG.

Having fans finishing my songs as I perform them, so yeah, after that vision I was like it was time to hit the studio n actually make shit happen and give my people opportunities nobody else ever thought of doing!!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
At first with no support or confidence in myself, it was rough but if nobody believed in me, GOD DID!!! I and my team are solid. My producer, Aaron Hertz Musiq (AHM) locked in everything kosher!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Well, I do try to keep myself busy so yea I have a career at UPS driving.

I’m known always working making things happen others might think is impossible. I’m in the process of making 2Solid Foreva Ent., a brand, a label basically official. I’m proud of how far I’ve came due to the situations n tribulations I’ve encountered.

What I feel set me apart is thinking bout every outcome or situation thoroughly over n over just in case anything unexpected was to happen, safe to say ima an over-thinker in a good way!

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Stand on what you believe and feel n most of all yourself! Find a solid team who believe in you just as much as you believe in them and yourself! No matter who’s supporting or not supporting, like it or may not like it, rock that shit out!
