Today we’d like to introduce you to Ricardo Rivers.
Hi Ricardo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My father always had a camera in his hands when I was younger.
After taking a photography course during college, it piqued my interest for a semester, but then I lost that interest after graduation. A few years later, one of my friends celebrated her graduation with a party and requested a photographer.
I told her I could take the pictures, and I had no idea what I was doing. Months later, I did my first photo session with another friend. She posted the images, and I’ve been capturing them ever since.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve faced several challenges. I’ve been taught to plan for the worst! A few times, planning properly did not help. But with faith and a list full of photographer colleagues, I’m always able to succeed.

For the past 13 years, I have provided photography services to the low country and surrounding areas, also a few out of state. I am known for making the client always feel welcome and relaxed and for being honest with them.
I provide a level of professionalism and decorum that they will always remember and want to utilize the services again in the future.
What does success mean to you?
Success is defined as your personal comfort zone. No one can tell you when you’re successful, it’s a feeling that only you can experience about your own success.

- Photo Sessions are $275.00. Travel fees will be applied if needed.
