Meet Toria Wallace of Rawls Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Toria Wallace.

Hi Toria, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My aspirations of becoming a real estate agent started at a young age. Before I started high school, I was so back and forth about what I wanted to do with my future but real estate was the one thing that really stuck with me because of my love for houses. I was 13 years old when I decided that I was going to be a real estate agent after I finished high school.

When I was a sophomore in high school, I met with my first real estate broker. I think that’s what made it real for me, especially since she was one of the top brokers in the area. After high school, I went straight into real estate school and I did have a tough time but I stuck with it and got licensed at 19 years old.

It hasn’t been easy, as many real estate agents will say, but it has been so worth it. I’ve sold millions of dollars of real estate from residential sales to commercial and I’ve built a ton of relationships which I feel is my favorite part of the business.

Getting to where I am now, an Associate Broker of Rawls Realty, Inc. has taken a lot of prayers, hard work, consistency, and perseverance. It’s something I had my eye on accomplishing for a while but I’m big on God’s timing and I believe things happen when they are supposed to.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For me, it wasn’t easy. The first struggle I had was getting out of real estate school. I remember being the youngest in my class and feeling discouraged because it was so difficult. On top of that, I took the course 3 times. I think what made me feel a little better was learning I wasn’t the only one that had a difficult time.

There were college graduates, lawyers, doctors, etc. in my classes with me, and there we were, all looking at each other like what is going on here?! Haha. It’s a lot of information to retain in such a short period of time. Testing with the state was difficult for me also. For my pre-license, I tested with the state 10 times.

Yes, 10. Giving up was not an option for me, at all. When I started real estate, I wasn’t trained or mentored which at the time, it was discouraging. The seasoned/experienced agents didn’t care to help or guide me so trial and error was my teacher a majority of the time.

I made a few brokerage moves and that’s when I really started to learn more about the business and myself.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Toria Wallace, Associate Broker of Rawls Realty Inc. specializes in residential and commercial real estate sales in Hinesville, Savannah, and the surrounding areas. I have over 8 years of experience in real estate.

I assure all of my clients that they will have an exceptional experience whether they are selling or purchasing real estate with me. I work with all buyers from first-time home buyers to investors and sellers whether they’re local or out of state.

I service all price points as well and I love that whether you’re buying a $400,000 house or selling a $200,000 house, everyone gets the same great customer service from me. I love the integrity I have and I believe in conducting business ethically at all times, no matter what.

What matters most to you?
Relationships. Most definitely. I think that’s part of why real estate can never be strictly business for me. I can’t sell everyone a house but the clients that I’ve had the pleasure to work with and build friendships with keep me going.

All relationships in this business are important, like the relationships with my friends that are agents, my lenders, my vendors, etc. I value them all and amazing people have come into my life through my career. And of course, my son Tristan, 3. He is the reason I wanted to go much further in real estate, not just being a real estate agent. He’s my little real estate baby, literally.

Tristan was 3 weeks old at his first closing and he even knows how to show houses. My clients absolutely love him and that warms my heart. They understand when they support me, they are supporting him as well. I am forever grateful for that.
