Rising Stars: Meet Stephanie McIntyre

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie McIntyre.

Hi Stephanie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
From an early age, I was always very fascinated by the process of filmmaking. As far back as I can remember, I always knew that is what I was meant to do.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been long and I’ve worked my way up to where I am now in my career, yet I still have a long way to go to achieve every goal I have set for myself.

Though it hasn’t been an easy journey through the years, I am grateful for every lesson I have learned along the way.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an Actress, Director, Filmmaker, Producer, Screenwriter, and Stuntwoman.

It was important to me to experience different departments of filmmaking to develop a full understanding of every avenue so I set forth to learn as much as I could and I continue every day to do so.

I am incredibly grateful and proud for every film production that I’ve worked on. One production that will always be extra special to me is when I worked on the movie, “Halloween Kills,” a sequel to John Carpenter’s “Halloween” starring Jamie Lee Curtis. The entire cast and crew were amazing.

David Gordon Green is a phenomenal Director, an absolute genius. In addition to being an Actress, I am a horror fan, so it was a dream come true to be a part of the exciting process. The “Halloween” fans have been amazing and I am very grateful for their support. It means the world to me and I will cherish it for the rest of my life.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
A memory that led me to my career, I remember watching classic footage of how Hollywood made movies.
