Meghaphone Marketing was founded in 2017 by Meghan Hughes, a girl who has been in front of or behind the camera her whole life.
She is magnificent and is decorated with many awards for her creativity and overall success in the business and community. She was nicknamed ‘Megaphone’ by her friends and family growing up. Her loud and spunky personality was one to remember, she lectured every Sunday in front of hundreds at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
Not everyone who hires Meghaphone has gone to school to be on camera, but Meghaphone herself did. She brings you her on-camera expertise as a graduate of Jacksonville University with a Bachelor’s in Communications-Broadcasting.
She has anchored news teams throughout her years, beginning at Samsula Elementary School, where her passion for telling stories and talking came about. She continued to live out her dream through college. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Communications-Broadcasting at Jacksonville University.
Meghaphone built her reputation based on co-branding with her customers and her community. Part of the Meghaphone Method is to share your video on all of our platforms and market your brand/service to our followers.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I tried expanding my business at one point and hired a couple of people, but realized it is really hard to duplicate yourself. Sometimes you are just better off doing it all yourself.
As you know, we’re big fans of Meghaphone Marketing. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am a videographer specializing in business marketing videos for a plethora of different organizations in my community.
I am known for my quick response time and efficiency in getting their product over to them ASAP. I have been on camera myself, so now, I am able to coach my clients and make them comfortable in front of the camera.
I am most proud brand-wise when people call me ‘Meghaphone’ out in the community, and continually remind me of how amazing I am.
I would like readers to know how much fun it is to produce a video with me, and the return on investment is beyond measure!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I would say that luck has played a great role in my life and business.
You have to believe you’re successful, and the luck just falls into place. I am a firm believer that beliefs turn into reality, and my business’s success has proven that!
