Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Fabian.
Hi Andrea, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I founded Palms and Places Imagery after working for years with a wedding photography company based in Columbia, SC. While I had an amazing time there and learned a ton, I wanted to focus my efforts on creating an amazing experience for my couples from the moment they inquire, which centers around my relationship with them, plus producing amazing images! You see, in order for me to be able to capture the purest, most intimate moments, I need to know more than just a name and Instagram handle.
I need to know about your first date, the moment you knew they were the one, your favorite activities to do together, and so much more! I have created this company to give you the most unforgettable, wedding experience, filled with laughs, adventures, and REAL connections with REAL people. Today I am so happy to say that the team and I are connecting with brides and grooms all over the low country, to tell the most important love story of people’s lives.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One of the biggest challenges for me was COVID. I opened Palms and Places Imagery the same year that COVID halted almost all of the weddings all over the world. I was forced to adapt, and be patient.. but I took advantage of the downtime to ensure that everything about the client experience was perfect for my future brides and grooms.
I made resource guides, vendor lists, and anything I could to make sure their experience was perfect and stress-free, from the moment they inquire with Palms and Places Imagery.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Here at Palms and Places Imagery, we are not just wedding photographers, we are wedding storytellers. We understand that capturing the story of a wedding day is not just about showing up and clicking a button and following a list. We realize that when your wedding day is over, all you will have are these images. You’ll be able to relive the story together, show your children, and celebrate many anniversaries.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories was when I was in my early teens, my family took my cousins and me to Paris. I remember seeing a model photoshoot taking place in the courtyard of the Louvre.
A beautiful girl in a fairytale wedding dress was posing by the fountains and I was just so enamored by what the photographer and model were doing. I didn’t even notice my family walking away! The rest of the trip was one of the best I had ever experienced, but I do remember that particular moment drew me into weddings very early on.
