Hi Madilla, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
As a little girl, I have always had a passion for hair it started from my little sister to my aunts then my neighbors…
Growing up I could not do it full time due to school and work 2019 I moved to Hinesville, GA.
I noticed jobs were far where you had to drive miles away and I did not want to do that, so I started my hair business, I branded myself and even added value by making my client’s hair and scalp oil which is called “For The Love of Hair” hair oil I have been in business for over 3 years and now I’m proud to say I currently operate a Braiding Salon in Hinesville, GA at 413 S Main St. Suite B.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life is always a struggle We are always up and down. It’s definitely not easy. But I have learned to be patient in my troubles and trust God.
One of the biggest struggles I’ve had along the way was to separate my personal from my business it is hard when you love and care for people and what you do.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in locs and braids from natural hair to weave I am well known for not just doing hair but caring for the hair and that’s what sets me apart from others.
So maybe we end by discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters the most to me is how I make others feel when they leave my presents… that no matter what you are going through when you leave from around me or out of my chair you’re filled up Why? Because this is my purpose
