Today we’d like to introduce you to Debbie Lariviere. 

Hi Debbie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Bill Middleton and I launched Middleton Elite Coaching 5 years ago after an extensive career in real estate sales, building real estate teams, and launching and running national real estate sales firms. Our company originated from what we felt was a gap in the industry. 

Foundationally, we offer customized business and real estate coaching programs versus a one-size-fits-all approach. We understand that everyone defines success differently and in building our coaching models for client success, our programs center around the implementation of the 4 Ps; Productivity/Profitability, Projects, People, and Personal. These key components enable our coaches to look at the person as a whole while elevating their businesses. We also strongly believe that one of the key components of a successful coaching relationship is the relationship between the coach and the client. We have a process that allows the client to work with us in selecting a coach that best fits their goals and necessary skill sets for growth. Over the past 5 years, we have expanded to include coaching for top agents, teams, brokerages, property management firms, financial advisors, and mortgage companies. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our challenges allow for our most significant wins. Building any business begins with a vision that requires work and commitment. Middleton Elite Coaching is no different and has been worth the growth through the obstacles over the years. We work intentionally to become a known brand in areas or markets that expand outside our personal networks. The more top agents and brokerages we can reach through brand awareness, the more opportunities for a partnership arise. The real estate industry has faced ups and downs over the last five years. We are forever working to stay current and provide additional value in a changing market. Our goal is consistently to offer high-level, customized coaching that allows our clients’ businesses to thrive in any market trend. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Middleton Elite Coaching’s clients are currently in the top 5% of their industry. Last year, our clients closed $3 Billion (with a B) in sales volume. 

When someone is interested in our customized coaching programs, we want to ensure it is a great fit. We offer a complimentary 30-minute exploratory call into their business. Based on what they hope to accomplish through working with a coach, we’ll work together to find the talented Middleton Elite Coaching coach who is the best fit to help them. This is one of the more important things that sets us apart as a coaching company; being a high-level, quality coach with a variety of skill sets is a requirement to join our team. We work with our coaches to develop their skills for enhancing our client’s business growth. 

The launch meeting is the cornerstone piece to kick off the coaching experience. We commit to 3+ hours with the client, taking a deep dive into their long-range goals, short-range goals, and the dynamics of the team or office. We evaluate all aspects of their current business and create a 90-day action plan for some of the more critical elements. From the onset of the first coaching call, we are working to design a success roadmap. 

Middleton Elite Coaching is proud of our brand and the service we offer. In addition to one-on-one customized coaching, we offer speaking engagements for brokerage firms at the local and national levels, property management conferences, office training meetings, and annual team advances (open to clients and non-clients). 

We are always creating mastermind opportunities for our clients, and we host virtual and live events each year. To continually add value to our clients and those in our network, we have a private Facebook group for masterminding with the hundreds of top real estate professionals we’ve worked with as a place to share best practices, tips, tools, and advice. We also offer on-demand virtual skills courses for anyone looking to sharpen their skills. 

Middleton Elite Coaching is especially grateful for the impact we are able to have on our clients and the real estate industry. Many of our clients have been coaching in our programs for more than 5 years! The longevity speaks a lot about the work we do, always breaking through ceilings and reaching the next level of success. 

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice for anyone starting out in real estate or business of any kind is to commit to learning all you can about your service area, not just the basics of the local market data. Grow and practice your skills in communication, negotiation, and working with different personalities. Attend seminars and find a mentor to get you started – and hire a coach ASAP. The fee will be worth the investment.

Lastly, embrace the journey. Know that it’s okay for it to take a long time to become really good at something. We strive to be a little bit better at what we do every day. Give yourself the grace needed to stick with it, even when the work is hard, especially when the work is hard.
