Today we’d like to introduce you to Roy Sewell. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Roy Sewell, owner of Executive Auto Transport, was raised in Columbus, OH, where his father spent his entire career as a truck driver. Roy recalls the moment when he knew he would follow in his father’s footsteps, “one day, I asked my father if I could see his paycheck, and being so amazed and impressed, I knew right then and there that I was going to follow in my father’s footsteps.” At the age of 21, Roy decided that he was going to obtain his Class A license to become a truck driver, and after 6 months of driving coast to coast, Roy purchased a tractor and trailer of his own. With over 1 million miles under his belt and owning his own fleet of trucks, Roy was offered a job with a carrier who needed his expertise and knowledge of the trucking business to help increase their sales and revenue. Within the first year, Roy increased the carrier’s revenue by 33% and became the general manager Not completely satisfied with his incredible first-year results, over the next few years, Roy leads the carrier from a 6-million-dollar company to a 9-million-dollar company using same resources at no additional expense. After 13 years in the industry, Roy decided to open his own transport company to provide nothing but the highest level of service to each and every client. Roy works 24/7 to ensure that each and every one of his clients receive the service they deserve. Currently, Roy is located in Massachusetts, where he lives with his wife Megan Sewell, Owner as well of Executive Auto Transport, with their 3 young boys.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was very tough from the beginning with many struggles. Grew up very poor with a rough upbringing. I worked for many companies prior to opening my own business. First month in business was served with a lawsuit. Also had 1 more lawsuit since being in business. It is a pretty interesting story, and will explain.

We are a high-end brokerage firm specializing in transporting vehicles all over the world. We are known for speed and a very unique reputation as we work with celebrities and television shows. We offer enclosed and open vehicle transport with zero deductible to any customer up to any amount. We offer door-to-door service.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
No real lesson. I was home for 3 months and did what I could do. Toughed it out like most.
