Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Darisaw.
Hi Jamie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my photography interest when I was in high school. I’m a very visual person. I love to look at nature & watch movies & with watching movies, I see a certain scene & I think to myself that exact scene can be a great picture. I always was photogenic since I was in middle school. My passion grew when I use to take pictures for my friends in high school. I love to see people smile and excited about what I could create. That explains the name Jamie’s PURE smiles that she captures from the GOLDEN heart within herself that makes the LENS around Jamie FOCUS.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Where do I start? It has been a VERY ROUGH JOURNEY! It’s one thing when you have friends to support you which I am very highly grateful for them but it’s really tough when you constantly have people knock down you ideas, speak negatively about you and your passion by the people that are close to you. So having to constantly take hits & hearing those words at you after a while, you start believing that your business won’t work out, that the nobody was going to come to me because other people doing an offering better than you. But through all the chaos a voice said, “God is within her; she will not fall, God will help her at break of day.” Psalms 46:5 When I repeat this over my business, I have been booked every month even the backstabbers started recognizing the gift. “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet” Psalm 110:1.
As you know, we’re big fans of Jamie’s Pure Golden Focus. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
Photography is a passion of mine, what sets me aside from ANY OTHER photographer is the anointing (not saying anybody else can’t have an anointing for photography), but it’s where I can take my phone and make something look like art. I have a vision when I’m in photography mood; give me the natural light from outside, a few props & watch the magic happen within MINUTES! That is what makes me unique, my creative skills.
