Today we’d like to introduce you to LaChelle Jackson.
Hi LaChelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My name is LaChelle Jackson, I am the founder of HERS Mobile Detailing, I have been detailing cars since the age of 18. Starting out I was cleaning cars for extra money while attending The University of Nebraska at Omaha. After a while of doing this, I found a passion in the transformation of a dirty car and the customers’ excitement to have a fresh car. The love and passion I had for this inspired me to start my own detailing business.
HERS Mobile Detailing LLC was originally established in Omaha, Nebraska where I was born and raised.
In 2020 during the pandemic, I met the love of my life Jordan. She lived out here in Savannah so for the first year, we had a long-distance relationship. I would visit Savannah often and it was easy to fall in love with the people, atmosphere, and the scenery. I then made the decision to relocate to Savannah, Georgia.
Once I relocated, I worked at a few different detailing places, I even got the opportunity to clean private planes. However, everywhere I worked no one shared the passion and pride I had for detailing. I then made the decision to bring HERS Mobile Detailing LLC to Savannah (and surrounding cities). When I told Jordan my plans, she took no time jumping in and helping me make my dreams come true. While we began working on that dream, I decided to pursue another dream of mine and I joined the US Army.
HERS Mobile Detailing is now run by both Jordan and myself. Where Jordan is the main admin role taking care of invoicing, scheduling, marketing, and accounting. I’m the professional detailer and have been training Jordan on everything I do as well. Together we take a minimum of 3 hours on each car we detail, meticulous to every detail. Once a job is completed, we bring the customer to the car to make sure they are completely satisfied before leaving.
Most recently we have been working on building tour clientele and getting a van for our company. We are also learning to expand our services to one day include more than just detailing, such as: car wrapping, headlight restoration, cleaning boats, mobile homes, and the list goes on. We don’t have an end goal as we plan to always expand, but our long-term goal is to one day have a car wash where we can offer self-clean, professional clean and still have vans available for our mobile detail clients as well.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Since relocating from Omaha and leaving all my clients there. I think the that biggest struggle is getting enough clientele here in Savannah to have a consistent income.

We are known for taking our time on every vehicle, never rushing a job and 100% customer satisfaction. We are proud of every vehicle we complete and have yet to have an unhappy customer.
We offer base interior clean and optional add-ons if interested such as exterior car wash, waxing, headliner shampoo, etc.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory was being at my grandma’s house surrounded with family and not a care in the world. Such a simple time.
