Hi Mimi and Lindsay, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
Mimi and I have had an interest in painting for many years. While working together at a local machine shop, we quickly learned we had several similar interests. At the time, canvas paint parties were deemed a fad to us, as we had attended several together. After a few parties, we wanted in. This is when the idea of starting our own paint party business came into play.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As most readers know, there were several canvas party franchises popping up in 2013 when we began. It became a challenge to find a new way to bring customers in. We needed something that set us apart from the rest.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We now specialize in mobile paint parties, where we can come to your location, set up, and instruct versus the customer having to come to us. We also specialize in hand-cut door hanger paint parties, which is something no one was doing at the time. Customers can choose just about any shape in our template inventory. Then, we will guide and instruct throughout the painting process so that the customer leaves with a custom, hand-painted piece ready to hang on their front door.

A few things we’d like to share with the readers are:
1. Everyone has creativity inside of them…everyone!
2. We offer to do all of the outlining and wording on their piece to take away that stress.
3. We have now been in business for 10 years and recently awarded Best Small Business of Liberty County, Best Event Service of Pooler, Best Local Facebook Page of Pooler, and Best Local Instagram of Pooler and we are striving to be recognized in even more locations. We have been featured in several magazines and newspapers over the years. Keep an eye out for the next edition of the Liberty Life Magazine.
