Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeromy Causeway.
Hi Jeromy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I first opened my shop 10 years ago, fresh out of college and not knowing what I was really doing. All I knew was that I had a passion for the product I carry, and I wanted to build something new and fresh for the Pooler area. Through the years, we’ve learned a lot, made mistakes, but have grown and built a community that support us each and every day. I’m very lucky to be in the position I’m in and I get to do something I love each and every day.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. The first few years were rough as we tried to get our name out there and build a business in a new market. I would have days where I would see maybe one person come in, which was very disheartening. But I kept pushing on, tried new things, and hired a manager who brought additional knowledge and helped me grow the business to what it is today.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Savannah Lion Games?
We are a hobby game store in Pooler, GA. We cast a wide net and specialize in card games, board games, miniatures, and more! We try to make sure that everyone who visits feels welcomed. We love meeting new people and discussing their hobbies with them. Myself and my staff are passionate about providing an entertaining and friendly experience for everyone who steps through the doors.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
Just coming by the store and checking us out is support enough. We love our community and the people who come by. We truly feel connected to our customers and people who play in the store.
