Today we’d like to introduce you to Cheri Cobb.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2016, while balancing a full-time role as a medical biller and pursuing a psychology degree. I started sharing snippets of my life online. And people were way more interested in my social media savvy than my day-to-day random lifestyle stuff! They were all, “Cheri, spill the beans! How do you edit videos? Build websites? Start blogs?” So, I listened up and started dishing out social media tips like it was nobody’s business. Fast forward to 2022, and Cheri Cobb Creative was born—a creative marketing company tailored to aesthetic service providers.
I kissed my medical billing job goodbye in August 2022, and I haven’t looked back since. Why? ‘Cause every single day, I’m living the dream, all thanks to my amazing son Dashawn and my passion for helping others boss up their online marketing game. It’s been a wild ride, but I’m loving every minute of it. I am honestly blessed to be a blessing. I get to work with my dream clients every day, and it’s all due to the power of social media!
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all, lots of doubts, imposter syndrome, financial uncertainty, comfortability
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We specialize in organic content creation, video editing, social media, email marketing strategies, custom websites, and much more that help our clients attract more of their ideal clients!
Potential clients complete an intake form on my website, we review the form and the client’s needs to make sure they’re a good fit, we conduct a short discovery call, we learn about the client’s current marketing strategy or lack of, we discuss goals, and we plan a day or two of filming content.
I fly to the client’s office to film, coach/consult with the team. Then we take all of the content, edit, and optimize for social media platforms, then we post, respond to comments, etc., and manage the account fully. Along with a planned email marketing strategy a fully functional website, Google My Business management, and much more. The client signs a 12-month agreement, and we meet monthly and go from there.
