Meet Kat Brough and Emily Rogers of Burn Boot Camp

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Kat Brough and Emily Rogers.

Kat Brough and Emily Rogers Brough / Rogers

Hi Kat and Emily, thanks for sharing your story. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Our mission is to ignite global health transformation by empowering women to maximize the quality of their lives. We seek to build confidence, happiness, and disciplines that transcend fitness into a community of mentally, emotionally, and physically strong women.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not, but anything worth having is worth working for. We both transplanted to a new location and jumped in head first. I’m so grateful we did.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Kat – I have a background in Nursing with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I worked in the hospital for 10 years and began to really burn out.

I transitioned into personal training after I fell in love with Burn and wanted to help people the same way Burn helped me. I love to help people build strength, get healthy, step outside their comfort zones, and grow in that strength and confidence. As a team, we have worked hard to grow Burn Bluffton and change lives in this community, and I am so proud of that!

Emily – I have a business background in entrepreneurship within our family business. I have enjoyed being a part of the Burn Community for the past nine years as a member, head trainer, training manager, and now owner. I love to serve our community and serve them well!

Before we let you go, we have to ask if you have any advice for those just starting.
Trust the process! It takes hard work; there are no shortcuts. People first always serve well!
