Dylan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started in this industry when I was 14 years old working with my stepdad. Out of high school I joined the military and after serving 15 years I was medically discharged and have always wanted to own my business so I took a chance! With the help of great friends I’ve been able to build Scorpion Asphalt & Concrete into what it is today.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As with any road it has had some bumps, but as a company we have solid values and a strong work ethic that allows us to persevere those bumps!

Veteran owned and operated, we specialize in asphalt maintenance/repairs, concrete paving, sealcoating and line striping and thermoplastic. We pride ourselves in completing a job correctly the first time so we don’t have to come back. The strong relationships we’ve been able to build with not only or customers and vendors but also our community is something I’m very proud of.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
They know who they are, I am definitely humbled but the support I’ve received!
