Hi Dream, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi everyone my name is Dream Monroe , I am a model and entertainer. I am a woman of trans experience who has faced a lot of challenges but always remembers there is a light at the end of the tunnel even if you have to create that light yourself . I have been transitioning for 2 years now. I think happiness plays a huge part in any major life events. We all control our lives and we hold the key to happiness and success.
As I’ve gotten older I wanted to put more into myself and my own happiness and that’s when I started my entertainment work . One of the keys is just having patience and remembering not to rush anything and what’s meant for you will be for you .
2021 was the year I decided to make a major decision to start my transition. At this time I did start my work in the adult entertainment industry. Basically I started out building a fan base through my content on Twitter , The P Hub & Onlyfans . I would say my transition was going pretty fast. December 2021 I started my hormone therapy and October 2022 I was getting enhancements done .
Just like any other job adult entertainment is hard work. Creating content, editing content and the overall experience. I like to thank of myself as an overall experience so when clients see me even outside maybe at a restaurant or club they have that fantasy of being with a woman like Dream Monroe .
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No my journey hasn’t always been a smooth one. I have been a victim of bullying for as far back as I can remember. I’ve overcome a lot of my childhood trauma but I want to turn what’s left of that pain into my purpose. I will one day be a voice and leader to young teenagers who are battling with identity issues. I didn’t have any leadership from anyone who could identify with me as a teen and I think having a mentor would have helped me a little along the way.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
So I am an entertainer and model . I do have an associate degree in marketing management and I’ve worked in customer service for 10 years. As I’ve gotten older I wondered how could I use my talents for my own business so I decided to market myself.
I specialize is fulfilling fantasies. So before I was the Dream Monroe I was known as Monroe. When I started my entertainment business and services I added a first name which was Dream . My name was inspired by the Rod Wave song “Girl of My Dreams”. With that being said I wanted to bring that to life and be the girl a lot of men dream of .
I am also studying to become a licensed masseuse. Hopefully one day I’ll open my own spa. I’m most proud of my life and journey overall. I really took control of my own life and put myself first and I know that’s not easy for a lot of people.I hope that one day I can reach more of the LGBT youth they’ll see it’s not as bad as it seems and there are people who can relate to them. One thing that sets me apart from most is my relatability. I have a mind that sees different perspectives that makes me easier to understand a lot of situations.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Yes , just a small reminder that the only real thing worth chasing is a dream. There is no age cap on happiness. Never settle for anything that no longer servers you. A lot of times we as humans get comfortable and we begin to waddle in mediocrity. “Scared money don’t make no money” and with that being said never settle.
