Hi Aarron, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Aarron Gilliard, I’m from Savannah, GA but raised in Screven County. My start was when I progressed from a $13/hour technical role to Operations Manager at Georgia Port for Tico, a life-changing opportunity. However, the demands became unsustainable. After seeking divine guidance, I transitioned into the automotive sector, capitalizing on my expertise, network, and familial legacy, courtesy of my father, State Representative Carl Gilliard. Savannah Toyota welcomed me, and since July 2020, I’ve successfully sold thousands of vehicles through strategic social media engagement, accumulating over 28,000 followers. This led to notable recognitions, including the 2023 Salesman of the Year nomination by Statesboro Herald and three consecutive Certified Used Car awards. My achievements are rooted in faith, family, and supporter appreciation.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My experiences have taught me resilience. Raised in a large family, my parents demonstrated unwavering dedication to provide for us. However, I faced setbacks from affiliating with the wrong crowd and being in detrimental environments. After leaving college, I needed time to find my footing. A crucial lesson learned is to trust your journey, despite its uncertainties, and hold onto faith.

I believe in the power of favor, and I’m blessed to have God’s favor in my life. The loyalty of my clients, from Savannah to Atlanta etc, and their willingness to refer others to me, is a testament to this favor.
