Hi Miriam, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my accessory business 3 years ago on April 16, 2021. I was hesitant to join Paparazzi Accessories because I have done other multilevel marketing companies before and previous associates were not as helpful as I needed them to be to help me be successful. I declined 4 other people before meeting Merissa Dickens. Never ever been big on sales, but I am a people person. Also I have a flare for fashion and making people look good. After having dinner at a Korean restaurant, Merissa asked if I would check out an opportunity call because of my personality and service to people. Joined a call and it made sense to me this time around. I decided to use the word ” Bauble” in my business because it is a small trinket or piece of jewelry. I signed up for the $99 dollar bundle in April 2021 and register my business ” Baubles of Bling and Glam ” in the Peach state in May 2022
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The struggles of my business have varied. I am a reader and what I have always been told was that ” readers are leaders”. With my Paparazzi family we have resources every where. I just read about different techniques and ask questions of my upline a.k.a Papa family. I was successful with making people look good and making money online or in person. In August 2022 two major struggles that impacted my business were that I was terminated from my job and then exactly a week later, I watch my father die. I lost my spark for about 8 months, but my Papa family supported me. I wasn’t just a number
to these people. I was valued and important. I had enough inventory to supplement my income and I was always able to connect with someone when I needed help
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Baubles of Bling and Glam, LLC?
I am just a South Carolina girl living in a Georgia world enjoying have an accessory business. I sell rings, necklaces, hair accessories, bracelets , earrings, anklets, and cufflinks for the entire family. $5 jewelry has given me the chance to build new connections with other businesses, expand my network, and increase my wealth. I stand out because I enjoy connecting with people and making them look fabulous with these fashionable accessories. I also enjoy giving out blessing bags to people that I connect with on a daily basis. These bags are given to people for blessing me with their services or presence. When I give them out, I say ” Thank you for be a blessing. I hope this bag of accessories bless you or you can bless someone else with this bag.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Figure out how this business can help you before joining me in business. I joined because I believe in serving people and I love the money. Some joined because they want a great discount on jewelry while otherwise joined to connect with a wonderful group of people that become family. If I knew that I would have had the business support of like-minded people, then I would’ve have joined years ago. Also I would’ve gotten a label printer sooner for postage.
