Today we’d like to introduce you to Delta Circle
Hi Delta Circle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Delta Circle was co-founded in June 2024 by Nic Ziter and Earnest Spiva. On a lucky chance, Kyle Graden and Joshua Buck Owens were in need of a bassist for a gig after the one they had canceled on them at the last minute. They contacted Earnest and asked if he was available to fill in. After that night, Nic and Earnest knew they had discovered the final pieces to complete the circle.
Since that faithful night, the band has gone on to record their debut album “Someone Else’s Story”, released two music videos for “Here’s to a Small Town”, and “Like I Love You”, perform at the House of Blues in New Orleans, won the 2024 Milan Aire Group Battle of the bands, national and international airplay, guest on numerous podcast, featured in Relix Magazine, Stroll Magazine, Rock and Blues International, and recently nominate in four categories in Connect Savannah Best of 2025, and The International Singer Songwriter Awards. The band performs extensively and has received an invite to perform at the 2025 Springboard Music Festival in Houston, TX.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The music industry is never an easy path to navigate. We were once signed to a record deal, and quickly learned sometimes, it’s not as glamourous as it would seem. After facing many creative differences, the band decide to buy out their contract and carry on as an independent entity. Where music is your focal point, in today’s world, social media has changed the approach you have to take to get your brand noticed. It is a daily task to keep engagement up in hopes that you will be noticed by industry leaders to put you in a position of better opportunities.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a regional performing band. Our music has been branded as a hybrid of country music and southern rock. The biggest moment has been having our songs so well received! We set ourselves apart by treating the band like a business and focusing on growing our brand by working diligently to give the best live performances and partner with other entity’s to grow the name.
How do you define success?
Getting paid for doing what you love.
