Hi Erin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I came from an entrepreneurial family. My parents have always had their own business and they instilled the passion and work ethic that comes with that into me. I always knew that I wanted to have a business of my own one day, so when I got engaged to my now husband and we started planning our wedding, there were items that we needed that we knew we could purchase ourselves and start a rental business of our own. Those items that we bought and the love I have for helping others with their special occasions has grown into Southeastern Tents and Events.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am grateful for all of the help and support I have had along the way. My family has greatly helped me get to where I am, but as with any business it has not been easy. It is always a struggle when first starting out. Financing a new company is always hard, as well as trying to stand out in a line of work where there are already multiple reputable companies in our area. You just have to stay motivated and work hard to make your own path in whatever it is you are trying to do.

We provide rentals for all types of events. Specializing in clear top tents. We have various size tents and can accommodate all needs. We also have multiple chair and table options, dance floors, event staging, and upscale lighting options.
