Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Winfield.

Hi Jenna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I fell in love with wedding planning when I planned my own wedding here in Savannah, GA in the Fall of 2023. I loved every part of planning Caleb, my Husband, and I’s wedding, from booking the venue and vendors to the small details like personalized napkins and finding ways to incorporate our pets, it was all so much fun. Putting together a vision and then watching it come to life is unlike any other experience. Especially when it involves love stories and couples making a commitment to spending the rest of their lives together.

I decided I was going to become a Wedding Planner in May of 2024. When our wedding was over, I felt a huge void and decided I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life not planning a wedding. My story really starts when I asked my best friend to write an ad for me. I wish I could say it was for the newspapers like it would have been back in the day, but now we have Facebook. So my incredibly creative friend Kelly, I knew she’d be perfect for the job, wrote me an outstanding ad that landed me my first client on that day. I wrote my first contract on a software platform I wasn’t familiar with, and I did the dang thing. I created my process as I went with my first client and she gave me feedback and helped me develop what I now consider Winfield Weddings & Events exclusive wedding planning process. Where we specialize in creating a stress-free, creative and fun wedding planning experience that’s as unique as the Bride & Groom. As soon as I had my first client booked, I started working with a local wedding planner in the area to gain as much experience as I could before my very own first wedding as a wedding planner. I learned so much and gained a lot of new vendor friends. Fast forward to today and that first clients wedding just happened in May and it was incredible. I now have 14 clients and am continuing to grow my business I use to only dream about.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Every adventure comes with its challenges. When I started this business I was working a full time corporate job. Working a full time job while also building your business is not easy. It involves late hours and pushing yourself to a point of exhaustion just to make sure you don’t fall behind in your full time job, the business your building, but also personal life. Even though it was hard, I wouldn’t change the journey and what I experienced. You really are shaped by your experiences and I believe I’ve gained a lot of resilience through the path of entrepreneurship.

I am a Wedding Planner based in Savannah, GA. We specialize in creating a stress – free, creative and fun wedding planning experience that’s as unique as the Bride and Groom, combining enchanting details with classic wedding traditions to craft an unforgettable wedding day experience. We are known for our wedding planning packages that offer hands on guidance throughout the wedding planning process depending on which package is chosen. All of our packages include unlimited time on wedding day, one hour ceremony rehearsal, up to three assistants, above and beyond services like delivering breakfast to the bridal party, and much more. We offer full set up and clean up of all events so that the newly weds can be off enjoying their first night as a married couple. We handle the important things like delivering cards & gifts to the newly weds hotel suite, and saving the bouquet and cake. We also have an emergency kit onsite with 250+ items, anything and everything anyone could need. We also specialize in budget assistance and provide an in depth budget sheet and guide for all clients. We craft our services around being your bridal bestie, and we are here for anything and everything you may need throughout the planning process.

What does success mean to you?
Success to me is doing what I love while working for myself. Everyday I am so excited to connect with my clients and guide them along the incredible journey of wedding planning. Making couples dreams come true, while following their budget and listening to what makes them giddy and excited about their wedding day is such a surreal experience. Knowing that I had a hand in helping their dreams and visions come to life for the day that starts their eternal journey together, brings me so much joy and happiness.
