Today we’d like to introduce you to Kriss Stewart.

Kriss Stewart

Kriss, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Chamas Kitchen began offering healthy food and meal prep in 2019 and fully consolidated in 2020 after the pandemic hit and the loss of my other two jobs. It was three years in South Carolina, where I was fortunate to build a community of incredible customers who supported me from start to finish with my products and bartending services. At the end of 2023, I relocated to Georgia and spent nearly nine months rethinking my business model before finally announcing my official launch in December 2024, now as Chamas Kitchen Artisan Bite. The old version of Chamas Kitchen taught me a lot and I knew I wanted to do several different things, I don’t take custom orders anymore and this new business model allow me to have more flexibility and balance between professional and personal life, something that I LOVE . In six months, I’ve built a wonderful community that supports and promotes me, and I hope to expand and reach many homes over time❤️

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think that all business entrepreneurs go through that stage in which we face the impostor syndrome and the fears or uncertainty that that can bring, especially when you start from scratch building a new community and being so demanding with yourself. Being an entrepreneur is synonymous with being brave, first to materialize all the illusions that we visualize when we have the project in mind knowing that the income is not going to be enough at the beginning and second to face the challenges that may arise along the way. There are days of total success, other days where sales will not be so high and other days where money is lost and accidents and/or errors occur that make us question everything 😂. It’s part of the way and it’s important to learn how to deal with emotions, but overall, I am very grateful and happy with the support I have received in Georgia.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Chamas Kitchen Artisan Bite ?
Food is my love language! I identify myself as a person who likes to serve the community in a positive way, contribute from what I know how to do or help so that the world that can be so chaotic is a little more beautiful through the products I offer. I am a licensed CFO (Chef and Baker) I make desserts, sourdough bread and other different baked goods products from home for my county and community with a convenient pick up method .

Two of my best qualities are how detailed and perfectionist I am with everything, I demand a lot of myself and although it can be exhausting at a professional level I feel that it is an excellent tool when you know how to integrate it in a positive way.

Being myself and capturing my essence and style in my business is what distinguishes me as a brand, my seal is to put so much love to the details that people can identify Chamas kitchen just by seeing it, without even having tried the products and that when they try them they say “Wow, it’s not only a cute presentation but they also taste delicious!” I want to offer a complete experience, it’s not just selling for the sase of selling.

I am very proud of what I have achieved so far with the brand

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
I like to take things one day at a time and let myself go. I have very high aspirations for the business, so we’ll see how things go but always picturing my goals !
