Hi Mandy, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Mandy Edwards, and I am ME Marketing Services. Alongside a remote team, we are the oldest digital marketing agency in Southeast Georgia.
Anyone who knows me knows I really don’t like talking about myself. I’d rather find out more about you! However since this is for you to get to know the company, and hence, me, I step out of my comfort zone.
I have always had a desire to help others. After 10+ years in sales and marketing, I branched out in 2011 on my own to start ME Marketing Services.
How did I get to now? It all started when I graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a degree in General Business & Marketing in 2001. Go Dawgs!
As an undergraduate at UGA, I was involved in Baptist Collegiate Ministries (formerly known as the Baptist Student Union) where I established their first website and was responsible for media for the weekly worship gathering. While in business school, I served as Pledge President and later Vice President of Pi Sigma Epsilon Marketing Fraternity, helping our chapter win national recognition at the 2001 National PSE Conference in Dallas, Texas.
After graduating, I worked in the newspaper advertising industry for almost 5 years before serving as the local Marketing Director for our Chick-fil-A Restaurant. After taking a break from full-time work when I become a mom for the second time, I took on the marketing for the local franchise of Bruster’s Ice Cream where I got the opportunity to present at their corporate office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on local store marketing.
After receiving several inquires for contract marketing services, I dove head-first into entrepreneurship and started ME Marketing Services in June 2011. I work with businesses to help them find their place and their customers online through digital marketing.
My heart is in serving businesses. I work continually to educate myself in the latest in social media and digital marketing – from AI, apps, tools, Terms of Service changes to platform changes. I always have a pulse on what is going on. I serve businesses in consulting, training, and managing social media. And in the last few years we’ve expanded and added website design, incorporating a side project into a full-time business offering.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For the most part it’s been a smooth road. As the first digital marketing company in Statesboro, we were ahead of the game. As other marketing companies have come to town, we’ve made sure to stay ahead of the curve on digital marketing and focus on our client and business relationships.
We’ve been impressed with ME Marketing Services, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

I am most proud to be celebrating my business’ 15th anniversary in 2026. I have seen so many marketing companies and consultants come and go over the years and to still be thriving 15 years later is an absolute blessing.
I am a strong believer in digital marketing and the power it has for a business/organization. However it is just once piece of your marketing plan, and not all businesses even need to use it. My heart is helping others. As a part of your overall marketing plan, I will brand & market you across the web to stay consistent with your message while working out a digital marketing strategy to grow your online influence & relationships with your client base.
What do I do? I can help you bring you and your business online and connect with current and potential customers. Focusing in on everything digital, I continually keep my business up to date on what is going on – from the latest apps to the latest Terms of Service changes.
Over the past couple decades, digital media has worked itself into our daily lives. It’s now on our smartphones. We check-in at places. Television shows will show live Tweets at the bottom of the screen. That being said, there are many opportunities for businesses to get their piece of the digital marketing pie, as I call it. The consumers and clients are there – you just have to go to them and build the relationship that will make them raving fans. I firmly believe that any successful marketing plan requires a digital marketing component. That’s where I come in.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Find the people you admire and start following them online and interacting with their content. That will introduce you to them and eventually you will get to know each other and take the conversation offline. That’s how I found my business mentor, who I consider a dear friend now.
At in-person networking events, don’t be afraid to go up and introduce yourself. You will find your best personal growth when you get out of your comfort zone.
