Hi Kah’Teah, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia where I resided for a large portion of my life. While living there I experienced some really beautiful highs and some really ugly lows. I grew up without my birth father, was exposed early on to perverse things as a child, as well as experienced multiple forms of abuse in childhood & later on in certain relationships during adulthood.
Savannah is where I also developed my love for Performing Arts which started out as an outlet and became a passion. I had the incredible opportunity of working with various local performing arts companies such as AWOL Inc, Abeni Cultural Arts, Performing Arts Collective, Savannah Stage Company, etc. These companies helped cultivate my growing passion for the Arts and also helped to further reveal some of the hidden treasures that God placed in me.
As a now former Savannah resident, I’m a woman who made a final decision to allow the Lord to turn what was dysfunctional in my life into destiny. I am a single working mom & an entrepreneur. I am a Remote Healthcare Phone Specialist by night and a Traveling Performing Arts Creator/ Artist by day, while also being a Full Time Mommy in between to my baby boy. I ensure that I have Rest Days(Sabbath) in between to receive the necessary rest for balancing it all. The Lord has shown me that with the right strategies & the right support system it’s possible to be a healthy present parent and pursue your God led goals all at the same time. And that the pain of yesterday does not have to dictate your tomorrow.
Ive suffered my fair share of pain & trauma throughout different parts of my life all the way up until mid 2025. I finally made the challenging choice to FULLY let go of every necessary thing that the Lord instructed me to for the sake of both me & my son(unhealthy cycles/habits, certain relationships/friendships, & certain environments). The moment I FULLY let go & made the firm decision to FULLY move forward in obedience to what & where the Lord instructed, is the moment I began to experience a complete upward shift & transition in both of our lives. I now have a more promising opportunity to experience wholeness & healing in its entirety instead of in pieces. And I get to become Heavens Best Version Of Me while I pursue Heavens Best Life For Me. Being Kingdom Made for a Kingdom Mission. Savannah, Georgia is where it all started. Across the world is where it all will end.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have had some smooth moments but as a whole it has been the farthest from a smooth road lol. Similar to what I mentioned earlier, growing up without my birth father, being prematurely introduced to perverse things, living in an unhealthy environment, experiencing all forms of abuse in childhood & then a repeat of certain forms of abuse in certain toxic relationships as an adult, were some of the more prominent struggles that I encountered along the way. The extensive trauma I encountered as a whole also created other struggles along the way such as health problems, anxiety, suicidal ideations, etc. But the Blood of Jesus truly Still works! I’m so grateful for the Lord being a Revealer of all things & a Healer of all things.
After the final traumatic encounter I experienced in mid 2025, the Lord told me it was time to FULLY let go. He began to show me bit by bit every single thing I needed to fully let go of that was creating Unnecessary Struggle for me & my son’s well being. As a wise saying says “You can’t fully heal when you continue to stay around what’s making you sick“. After finally letting go of EVERYTHING he told me to, from that moment on the road has been smoothing out day by day by the grace of God.
I encourage any reader or listener to never allow fear to stop you from FULLY letting go of what is necessary for you to enter into your next. As it says numerous times in the Bible “Be strong & of good courage”. Courage is the ability to do something that frightens you. Meaning making the hard choice to do the necessary thing, despite any fear you may feel. So I encourage you to move in Courage and let go of whats necessary (internally AND externally) even if you feel uncertainty. Whether it be relationships, friendships, environments, bad habits, unhealthy cycles, etc. It may feel challenging, it may feel scary, and it may feel “different” at first. But it’s better to get accustomed to a new normal that’s healthy & aligned with Heavens best version of you, than settling for an old normal that’s unhealthy & unaligned with who you’re destined to be. It will all be worth it & will all begin to make sense by and by. I urge you to just take that first courageous step of letting go FULLY and moving forward in faith & obedience unto the Lord, and watch how your life begins to gradually enhance & transition for the better. I’m a certified witness & this is the heartbeat of what has pushed me FULLY onto my purpose path!

I am a Traveling Performing Arts Creator & Artist under my business “The Keys to Kah’Teah”. I specialize in creating thought provoking stories thru music, dance, & theatre that are impactful towards providing inspiration, hope, and/or transformation. I provide customized Performing Arts Creations for all types of events such as festivals, concerts, church events, etc; as well as Love Story Creations where I recreate couples love stories thru music, dance, & acting for Weddings, Wedding Anniversaries, Vow Renewals & Engagements. Clients have the option of choosing the type of creation they’d like for me to render which can either be a Dance, Song, or Spoken Word Creation, or an All Inclusive Creation that is a combination of all 3. Additionally, I also provide performing arts lessons as well as aide clients who want creative assistance in putting together a production/ play.
What I believe sets me apart is having a business that combines my love for the arts with my love for God. Mixing creativity with Kingdom in an unconventional way. I aim to run my business & live my life the same way, which is with God at the Center. The heart of my business is to give humanity the Keys to unlock the hidden treasures God placed inside of me, in expectation of making an inspirational & transformative impact on the world for His glory & purpose.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Love and Alignment makes me happy. I just genuinely love, love. I’ve just had to learn overtime what kind of love to love. And that’s healthy & holy love. Love that is safe & aligns with the core of who you are & who God is. To be blessed with an opportunity to freely give safe healthy love & to freely receive safe healthy love in its most purest form makes me incredibly happy. For example, this is the kind of love that I’ve been blessed to have with the Lord & with my son. And it’s the kind of love that I am now intentional about having in every close connection in my life including with my future human husband.
