Meet Paige Dutton of Statesboro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Dutton.

Hi Paige, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Owning a coffee shop has always been my dream. I remember coming here with my mom when I was in high school and discovering my love for coffee. Even when I was younger, I’d watch The Young and the Restless with my mom, and they had a coffee shop on the show. At that moment, I knew I wanted something just like that—a warm, inviting space where people could connect.

Over the years, my love for coffee never faded, but opening a shop was something I had to put on the back burner. Life has a way of aligning things at the right time, and eventually, I had the opportunity to buy into our hometown’s beloved coffee shop. I prayed many nights, hoping everything would work out so I could make this dream a reality.

Finally, it did. In 2022, I became the owner, and I’ve been running the shop ever since. Every day, I pour my heart into it, fueled by sweat, tears, and unwavering passion. This is a dream I prayed for and continue to nurture—keeping it brewing, one cup at a time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There is never a smooth road when you are in the restaurant business, There are many obstacles and struggles that you have to go down when owning a business. Each day is a new different day. You never know what the day is going to hold. You never know what face you are going to see that day, or who’s smile is going to change your day or the smile that is going to change someone’s day.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work is making sure that all market social media is done daily, each special and drinks are stocked and making sure that the day is ready to run smooth.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
What has worked really well for me is the collaboration and creativity that comes from my team. My employees keep me inspired, and I love how our ideas bounce off each other. In this industry, things are always changing, so it’s important to stay on your game and find ways to stand out in the market.
