Hi Tharren, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story? 
I’ve always been a creative with a love of food and culinary arts. This passion has allowed me to reach the heights I have as a highly-skilled executive chef, catering to multiple people and celebrities with a one-of-a-kind private dining experience that you will never forget. 

With over 10 years of experience, I’m a Southern-bred chef whose love and passion for cooking continue to derive from the happiness and joy clients receive from each experience. With vast training in a variety of cuisines, I take pride in catering to each client while expanding my knowledge of world cuisines and food safety within the company. 

This journey has been one of many lessons and great experiences, which I am looking to continue advancing as we grow the company at Top Floor Cuisines. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No journey to the top is ever smooth, yet I have embraced each twist and turn in the road over the years. 

From being overlooked for opportunities to juggling the operation of a day-to-day business, there have been many factors that could have affected the operation of Top Floor Cuisines, but instead, we continue to flourish. 

To anyone that may be going through difficult times while being an entrepreneur and/or business owner, it’s important that you stay encouraged and see it as a learning experience to continue to catapult yourself to higher levels within your industry. 

I say the best part about the obstacles is being able to look back at how much you’ve overcome to get to where you are now. When you see just how far you’ve come, you become inspired all over again. 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
Being called a “chef” is the term for anyone who cooks on a professional level; however, I take pride in also being an artist and creative in the industry of culinary arts. 

I specialize in American, French, Creole, Mediterranean, Latin, and Southern cuisine, and Top Floor Cuisines is known for our one-of-a-kind dining experiences for couples all the way to accommodating and servicing up to 250 people for events. 

My team is a friendly, welcoming, and professional group of people, known for our hospitality and ability to create an experience for anyone, which sets us apart from many in the industry. We don’t aim to simply “cook” for you; we aim to create an experience you and your loved ones will never forget. 

Me personally, I aim to instill a ‘family culture’ within the company to ensure that any time we cater to guests, we treat them as if they are family while providing them with a professional culinary experience. 

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’ve always been a creative child and the aspect of “learning” was at the pinnacle of what I always wanted to do. 

Whether it was drawing, painting, playing with LEGO, or watching my family cook, I always found joy in creativity, and the multiple ways that art could be expressed. 

I attribute many of these childhood memories to how I approach being a Chef as an adult. The creative expression, alongside the joy it brings to others, is very important to me.
