Hi Kaylie Foskey, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Our story began with two friends, Kaylie Foskey and Roman Roberts, who came together through shared passion, timing, and a love for creativity and community. Roman is originally from Michigan and moved to Savannah in 2023 after completing his degree from the University of Alabama. Kaylie was raised as an Air Force brat and considers California home. She discovered a love for jewelry making through her mother, who taught her to appreciate the joy of crafting something meaningful. In 2023, Kaylie also moved to the Savannah area. With her husband’s family rooted in Georgia, it felt like a natural and easy decision.
Kaylie brought technical skill and a deep understanding of the craft. Roman contributed a strong background in marketing, networking, and outreach. Together, their combined vision led to the creation of Permanent Peach, a brand built on our creativity, connection and shared love for accessorizing!
We would not be where we are today without the community. The people of Savannah have been overwhelmingly supportive. The city welcomed us, encouraged us, and helped us at every step. Our individual backgrounds gave us the tools, but the Savannah community gave us the opportunity. For that, we are deeply grateful!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t been without its challenges. One of the hardest parts has been learning to balance the excitement of our vision with the reality that growth takes time. We see what Permanent Peach can become, not just as a brand, but as a platform that brings people together, supports creativity, and uplifts the local community. Wanting to get there quickly can be frustrating, but we’re learning to embrace the process and trust the journey.
We also deeply value connection and collaboration. We want to build genuine relationships with other local businesses and contribute to the city of Savannah. That sense of unity, of working together toward something greater, is a big part of our dream. Finding the right opportunities to foster that kind of community takes time and effort, but it’s something we’re committed to.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Kaylie grew up as the youngest of six children, so naturally, she learned early on how to stand out. She was energetic, bright, and always on the move. Known for her strong will and stubborn streak. From a young age, she loved taking on challenges and turning “you can’t” into “watch me.”
Roman, on the other hand, was the kind of kid people instantly felt connected to. Never without a naturally sweet and warm demeanor, people were drawn to his kindness and charm. From early on, he was passionate about relationships, not just making friends, but really investing in them. Building quality connections, listening, and showing up for loved ones has always been a part of who he is.
Together, those personalities still shine through in Permanent Peach. Kaylie brings drive, creativity, and the determination to make things happen. Roman brings connection, heart, and a gift for turning customers into community. It’s a balance that works, and it all started in childhood.
