Conversations with Jacquelyn Clark

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jacquelyn Clark.

Hi Jacquelyn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Freelance Modeling has allowed me to live out my passion and build toward my dreams. I currently travel and book photoshoots throughout Georgia including Savannah and all surrounding states. I would love to continue to expand my experience and continue travel while doing what I love.

I began modeling in November of 2016 and took on a profession as a model before the pandemic hit as a jewelry model on the gem shopping network, a live channel broadcasted 24/7. I have been able to connect my aspirations of being an actress through my modeling experience and I’m so proud to have taken those steps forward in believing in myself.

I am so much more of the artist I could have ever dreamed to be because of the path I chose. No one ever told me to be a model, they told me to be myself and here I am!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well, I can’t sum up my life’s road but I can focus on the path I’ve been chasing-the past seven years.

It took many of those years to take control of the fact that nothing is guaranteed in the industry, and if want it you have to make your own way to get it. I’ve been involved in film and tv since I graduated high school, starting that young helped in the same ways it hurt me. All the lessons I’ve learned are valuable in all aspects of my life and have helped me decide where I needed to go. All the no’s lead me to a place where I am the one saying YES.

As a young mother, I am currently going for my second degree for my B.A. in journalism. This is my second published written autobiography with Voyage since I started my journalist journey and I look forward to the stories I write about others being published in prestigious works.

My story is the story of the people I meet that changed my life for good. I haven’t always been easygoing on myself, and it’s safe to say I didn’t get to keep all those relationships, but they left footprints on my heart and gave me a story worth telling.

It all happens for reason, so look back and smile that it happened.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Professional Model, specializing in fashion and jewelry. I do traveling freelance modeling independently as well as agency work and I have been a promo model for five years.

My freelance modeling has been published 12 times both internationally and nationally in works such as Style Cruz, Mob Journal, Edith, Vigour, and Elegant Magazine to name the most recent. I am proud to have been the author of all my published works to date, which provided publication for my photographers as well. I’ve also mentored multiple models in the community.

My professional skills of modeling combined with my creative direction and being a freelance stylist sets me apart every time I step on set. I have worked on multiple movies as a wardrobe assistant and was the designer of a short horror film“Let Them Eat”. My skills and passion are designed to deliver every time.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I believe it’s surprising that as a young mother I am so dedicated and driven to reaching my goals and continuing to chase my dream and elevate my success in my own time & in my own way!

I’m unorthodox in many ways but I have kept true to who I am through it all, if anything I’ve deeply rooted my hopes and dreams in Christ so they will come to fruition in God’s timing. Most people don’t know about the dedication it takes to never stop living for your dreams because dreams really DO come true.
