Hi Liz, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
More than 20 years ago, we started this business as a husband-and-wife team with a simple goal: to build something of our own in the DJ entertainment industry. In the beginning, it was just us doing everything—loading equipment, performing at events, handling clients, and figuring things out as we went.
About 15 years into the business, we made a decision that would shape our future—we added event lighting. What started as an additional service quickly became a core part of what we do, allowing us to expand beyond DJ services and step fully into the entertainment production world.
As the business grew, so did our team. Bringing on the right people allowed us to elevate our work and deliver a better experience for our clients. It also marked a shift for us—from doing everything ourselves to building something bigger than just the two of us.
One of the most important milestones in our journey was becoming debt-free. That decision gave us the freedom to leave our full-time jobs and focus entirely on growing the business. It wasn’t easy, but it gave us the flexibility and control we needed to take the next step.
Like many business owners, we’ve faced our share of challenges. Building a company while raising a family required constant balance, and there were plenty of long days and late nights along the way. At the same time, working in an industry that is always evolving has pushed us to stay current, adapt, and continue learning.
Today, we’re incredibly proud of where we are. We’re surrounded by a strong, talented team that allows us to focus on leading the business and continuing to grow. That support system has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.
Looking ahead, our focus is simple: keep growing, keep learning, and continue surrounding ourselves with great people—both within our team and among the vendor partners we work alongside. That’s what has gotten us here, and it’s what will carry us forward.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. Building a business while raising a family is no small task, and there were plenty of long days and tough seasons along the way. On top of that, we’ve always been committed to delivering the best possible experience for our clients, which means there’s constant pressure to improve and stay ahead. It hasn’t been easy—but that commitment is exactly what helped us grow.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At our core, we create experiences. We provide DJ/MC services and event lighting, but what we really do is bring events to life—making sure they flow well, feel great, and leave a lasting impression.
We’re probably best known for our consistency. Clients know what they’re going to get with us—professionalism, energy, and a team that actually cares about how the event turns out.
What we’re most proud of is the business we’ve built and the people behind it. It’s no longer just us—it’s a team that takes ownership of every event.
What sets us apart? We pay attention to the details that other people overlook. We don’t just show up and “do the job”—we’re invested in the outcome.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
A lot of people may not realize that we recently hosted our daughter’s wedding. After years of helping others create these moments, it was incredibly meaningful—and eye-opening—to be on the other side of it.
It gave us a deeper appreciation for the planning process, the emotions involved, and the importance of having a team you can truly trust. It’s something that has stayed with us and continues to shape how we approach every event.
