Hi Yung , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I first started doing famous artists hit songs cover back then I would go on stage and perform them like it’s my music so a friend of my told me do I know I can write my own lyrics and do my own songs instead of doing hit artists music cover. I listen to him and started writing my own lyrics after I would memorize them and go to the studio my first recording actually came out good so started focusing more on writing my own songs . At first it’s was hard because no one believed in me at the time people didn’t take me seriously till I started putting in more work I had to convince them I’m a true musical artist I had to deal with doubts, nonbelievers, hate and all that but I didn’t give up I had to work harder to get people to believe I can do it
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not a smooth road at all it takes hard work dedication, determination , consistency and a positive mindset. You have to deal with people judging you , hating on you , non believers, doubter , people judging what they don’t understand, assumptions and whole lot of bunch of sh*t you gotta deal with while building your craft to master it I had to be strong and believe I could do it even though I had a lot of non believers from the start It took me a lot of lonely years to build and master my craft because you know how it goes people only come around when you poping .
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m specialize in music arts I love creating my own sounds my own lane I don’t like to sound like other artists with this being said I write different sounds differently I don’t imitate just being me a unique musical artist I try to create things that’s already in existence but in a different way, like I want to be the first to invent that kind of sound to that type of music.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Well this to anyone out there who trying to come up imma tell you straight up if you going to make it don’t listen to anyone because only you seeing the vision of who you going to become but others don’t see or believe in you so you just got to keep going because not everyone a visionary till you manifest your dreams you also got to be ready to to take lot of losses , doubter, assumptions and more people will judge what they don’t understand but all that don’t determine your final destination keep going even through the storms and darkest nights.
