The heart of our mission is to find the amazing souls that breathe life into our communities. In the recent weeks, we’ve had the privilege to connect with some incredible artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and rabble rousers and we can’t begin to express how impressed we are with the incredible group below.

Right now, I’m juggling a lot. I work full time, I’m a student studying criminal justice, and I’m growing my business from the ground up. It’s not always easy, but I’m committed. I’m working hard to get my name out there and connect with more people who appreciate detail, quality, and a personal touch. Every order means so much to me because I pour my heart into every single arrangement. Whether it’s a birthday, celebration, sympathy bouquet, or “just because,” I want each one to feel meaningful. It all started about 45 years ago. I was lucky to get the opportunity to work with a group of ladies at Pt Wentworth First Baptist church. Back in the days when it was time for wedding receptions, showers, etc this would be the group that you would call for help with food and decorations. It was an honor to be amongst the very talented ladies they taught me so much. Read more>>

Far too often, remarks about the industry are made that the artistic scene is one that is difficult, and exclusive to break in to. Here, we aim to change that. We believe that art is for everyone, and should be completed with the ideation of inspiration and inclusivity. Our exhibitions (for the time being), are completely virtual, which creates a space that allows viewers from across the globe a chance to see work from emerging artists. The online exhibitions will rotate on a scheduled basis, covering all mediums, processes, and origins. Our goal is to connect artists, the self-proclaimed non-artistic (is there such thing?), collectors, and organizations together in unified support of the next generation of artistic voices. In Colombia, where I was born, becoming an illustrator seemed like a difficult dream to pursue. That is why I decided to study Graphic Design as a way to approach illustration from a more structured perspective, using the tools of design to build a strong foundation in visual theory. That education allowed me to develop skills that opened doors in different areas. I collaborated with companies and clients such as Facebook, Oyster, and Cabify on projects that involved both design and illustration. I also began teaching classes and workshops on illustration techniques and the creative process. At the same time, I worked as a freelance illustrator on children’s projects for clients in places like the United Arab Emirates, Puerto Rico, and Peru. Read more>>

When I was nine I became an older sibling, eventually to 5 siblings, and naturally took on a caregiver role. Moving between households and watching my parents work hard to provide for our family, I developed a deep desire to be a leader and make them proud. That sense of responsibility initially led me to business school in New York City—I thought success meant following a conventional path. Read more>>

I grew up in India and did my undergrad there in Visual Communication, so I was already on the creative side of things, but animation always had this special pull for me. Moving to Atlanta for my master’s in animation was both exciting and terrifying. I thought it would be all about doing what I love and finding happiness, but that’s not always the case. There’s happiness, yes, but also frustration, self-doubt, late nights, and somewhere in all of that, there are moments of accomplishment. It’s a bit of everything, and I love that. Read more>>
Kareem McMichael

I’m Kareem McMichael, a Macon, Georgia native who’s always had a passion for storytelling—whether through acting, journalism, or film. I wrote for the Teen Board section of my hometown, The Macon Telegraph, when I was in high school, thanks to an opportunity my mom found out about. That passion sparked early; I was performing in school and community events by the age of five. My journey brought me to Savannah State University, where I originally majored in Theater before shifting to Mass Communications, making Theater my minor. During my time there, I anchored the student newscast and launched a web show called ACES, which spotlighted campus life. Read more>>
