Hi Laila, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Lovin Me Boutique LLC On April 30, 2019, I lose a part of my everything, my mother Myra Lillian Hosely, A.K.A “Big Red”. Most definitely it was hard losing my first best FRIEND and I knew I had to keep her legacy alive. A “ Fashion Diva” to heart, my mother, so I had a vision of a boutique in her remembrance, which I have now in her remembrance an online and mobile boutique that specializes in women and plus size women clothing called “ Lovin Me Boutique LLC”. I was in constant prayer because I didn’t want to fail so I knew I had consulted with God on this by writing it down and make it plain, and I did. In December 2019, I asked God, “ how should I do my boutique?” He replied just as clear as day “Put it in the back of a TRUCK!”. Never once questioned his response nor even thinking there were people with mobile boutiques already and I even bought decorations before having the truck and before knowing I would be relocated to Savannah, Georgia, and be the owner of the FIRST MOBILE BOUTIQUE in Savannah!!! We launched our online boutique on June 2, 2020 on my late father’s birthday and our Grand opening for the mobile boutique on August 15, 2020, in my hometown of Albany, Ga and October 1, 2020, my official ribbon cutting ceremony was done by the Savannah Chamber of Commerce, in Savannah, Ga. Lovin Me Boutique is dedicated to my late beloved mother, Myra Lillian Hosely and my amazing beautiful daughter, Mya A. Jordan and she’s also is the Lovin Me Boutique’s Brand Ambassador and marketing manager.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been completely peaches and cream, my greatest challenges with starting my boutique especially in a new city and in the midst of a pandemic, was finding my target audience, staying consistent, I had to buy my merchandise blind (because of travel restrictions due to the pandemic). Never the least not making the income I want to make but I continued to trust the process because I know God told me to put my boutique in the back of truck.
As you know, we’re big fans of Lovin Me Boutique. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Lovin Me Boutique, has a very Sentimental value to me, one because it’s a way not only to remember my beautiful mother, but two to keep her legacy alive,, three to ensure my daughter carry the torch after me (a business that will be handed down to her). Lovin Me Boutique, didn’t just happen overnight, just like any other business, I actually took a little over a year to birth God’s plan and my vision to life.
My daughter, which is my biggest cheerleader and motivator was right by my side the entire time and she’s the mastermind behind our website, Instagram and Photographer/editor for most of our photos for the boutique, Mya is the best daughter in the world! I have an amazing, loving boyfriend, Roger Jones Jr., that at the time couldn’t understand my vision but, he stood right beside me, worked just as hard I did to ensure my dream was a reality.
How the name of my boutique was created, the Lovin came from my mother’s middle name, Myra “Lillian” Hosely and Me, of course, is from my daughter’s name, “Mya” A. Jordan and she’s truly a mini me.

We do offer personalized shopping, you are able to book the truck to come to your event, We do ship nationwide. We do give back to the community our latest was for a Lupus event in Savannah, we donated a certificate and allowed them to come shop on the truck. Giving is my passion and this makes me proud that I’m able to.
I’m proud of seeing my vision come to light and being able to put smiles on so many beautiful women’s faces.
