Today we’d like to introduce you to ItZ* NOPROBLEM. They and their team shared their story with us below:
ItZ*NOPROBLEM is a dynamic duo consisting of local EDM/Hip Hop artist “ItZ*Nobi“ and of local DJ/Producer “Professor Beam“. Both based out of Savannah, GA, the duo has combined their musical prowess to become “ItZ*NOPROBLEM, “ making music ranging from traditional house to more experimental electronic soundings with a hip hop/trap influence. Many know ItZ*Nobi as a solo artist backed by their producer/DJ Professor Beam; however, recently, they are now releasing music jointly and with more intention than ever before. Meeting one day at Euphoria Sound Studios, their chemistry and combined talent could not be denied. Releasing songs together under ItZ*Nobi “CrocZ” featuring Connect Savannah’s Best Local Hip Hop Artist “VP Da Street Scholar” and more recently “Sugar Spice” and Hip Hop /EDM/ 80s themed anthem that has sparked a cultural movement in the city. ItZ*NOPROBLEM now runs a radio show with WRUU 107.5FM Community Radio called “ItZ*ALLGOOD RADIO,” where they highlight local artists and movements in Savannah as well as Live DJ rotating playlists of the electronic and dance genre. They look forward to their debut single, “Dynamic,” hitting the scene in the Spring.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. ItZ*NOPROBLEM has faced obstacles in collaboration with outside forces in multiple instances. Financial struggles as well as balancing personal life with business. The duo, having the work ethic and drive that they process, has proven to be admirable yet damaging. They have been reminded along their journey that rest and self-care are important in avoiding burnout.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We make a unique blend of Electronic/Club/ Hip Hop music with ItZ*Nobi on writing, vocals, composition, and co-producing— while the Professor focuses on Engineering, Production, Structuring, and Sound Design. What sets us apart from others is overall our chemistry, willingness to learn, the creation of our own sound, and ultimately, the fun that we have and share with others. We are most proud of the impact of the “Sugar Spice Movement,” as it is the blueprint for what is to come.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
A favorite childhood memory for ItZ*Nobi isn’t necessarily positive but they do reflect on a time when they first saw people performing on a stage and seeing themselves doing the same thing. A favorite childhood memory, Professor, is his love for music, always being present and putting on productions in school, as well as composing for the Orchestra.
