Community Highlights: Meet Andrena Phillips of KeepMovinWithAndrena

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrena Phillips.

Hi Andrena, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Andrena Phillips. I am a wife to a handsome husband 21 year Army veteran and the mother of 4 adults with 3 grandchildren (we are a fun-filled blended family). In the professional area, you can find me as the CEO & Founder of KeepMovinWithandrena LLC where I am a Master Life Strategist Coach (Personal Development) and Transformational Speaker. On the other side, I am Andrena living out her journey in every way through love, laughter, and on purpose. Part of my purpose includes serving others to live in their greatness with motivation, inspiration, and transformation!

I was born with the gift of serving and encouraging others in life. It comes naturally to me, even in a world that has lemons. To promote positivity and growth is my mission – I can’t help but do it! I have been sought out by people for either motivation or encouragement since I could remember. Though this responsibility has come with its challenges, it’s made me into a woman who will not judge, but rather make others understand their value about their lives. I would not be able to walk in this lane if I did not go through some rough patches. Trust me, life is not for the faint-hearted! We all experience life-changing events in our lives as victims but somewhere along the journey we also understand how victorious looks like when we take control of our own thoughts and actions to prevail over them.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Truth be told, the road to empowerment is not easy. It looks glamourous and fun but other people don’t have a clue of what it takes behind the scenes or how much one endures to walk in purpose. All of the things I had to go through in life- losing family members and friends, having deals and opportunities sabotaged by people who wanted me to fail, ending relationships that were supposed to last a lifetime but turned out to be among my biggest heartbreaks. And then there was leaving behind all of my belongings to move to a new place that didn’t come with a ‘welcome mat’.

No matter what situation you are in, life is always trying to teach or tell you something. You must find out what that message is and listen to it along your journey because life never stops speaking to us. When you find yourself at a crossroad pause for a moment to remember:

1. Know it’s going to work out for your good, in some way or another. Expect to WIN.
2. It doesn’t matter how many obstacles are thrown in front of you, but it’s about how you handle the lemons. Turn those suckers into a delicious lemonade!
3. Life is what you make it. Decide what you want your life to be by design not by default. You have the upper hand and should believe in yourself when running your own race. With tenacity sprinkled with laughter, there’s no choice but to succeed!

I love what I do, I want to see you win and I am filled with passion, a heart for service, and a desire to impact women who are on the cusp of giving up and in a need of a breakthrough to win in their journey. I work with high-achieving women to overcome self-limiting beliefs so they can gain clarity of their purpose and power. My proudest moment is when I see the transformations in women’s lives.
