Community Highlights: Meet Brooke Scott of Agency 23

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Scott.

Hi Brooke, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been a systems & operations gal, thriving behind the scenes in the corporate world, and never knew what lay past all the paperwork for me. My footing in the online space started as an outlet to add a few extra $$ to our family income and to dabble in my creativity.

After a few months, I knew I needed to start investing in learning more because I could see something there for me. It wasn’t quite clear yet but I knew it was the right path. For a while, I struggled juggling both the corporate world and this side-gig until I finally reached the point of diving fully in.

My husband joined my team and our daily lives changed for the better. I was able to spend more time with him. We collectively invested in more courses, products, and coaches for ourselves to finally create the movement I was missing when I first got started. We finally started focusing on our business ops outside of our client workload.

Once we started chipping away at the plan, the pieces started falling into place even quicker. We got more aligned with our clients and how we serve. We found a rhythm that got rid of the overwhelming 24-hour workdays. We stopped rushing and started ENJOYING not only what we do, but the space it was created in our lives.

And that’s when the fog cleared up. And a new path revealed itself. Shockingly enough, we got to start applying what we do behind the scenes for our clients, for ourselves and things started getting FUN.

Today, my formal intro for you – I’m Brooke Scott, MBA – a Systems & Operations Analyst who helps (alongside my husband, Brance Scott) guide service providers, course creators, and coaches to finally uncover their path to streamlined behind-the-scenes systems without rework or wasting time and money. Whether we are performing a systems audit, troubleshooting automation, or revamping a launch strategy, we are getting nitty-gritty with all the data behind the scenes. AKA – truly living our best nerd life.

Coupled with my drive and consistency, my desire to serve and help others are the building blocks of our business foundation in helping to accelerate our approach to funnel development. I firmly believe that accountability and clarity are keys to elevating success, a practice I demonstrate through communication, and restorative strategies.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There have been times of both lows and highs; a true rollercoaster to success. I’d be lying if I said that things were always easy.

There are clients who might ask too much of you or ask for things that you might not know how to do. There are times when due dates aren’t appropriate and you’re in a constant rushed state.

We have all been there. Frozen in the overwhelming paralysis of what’s being held back in your business and not able to take action on breaking through it.

As business owners, we aren’t ever alone in this. There IS something that can be done about it to get back your time, conserve your energy, and SAVE your money.

As you know, we’re big fans of Agency 23, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a Systems & Operations Analyst who helps (alongside my husband, Brance Scott) guide service providers, course creators, and coaches to finally uncover their path to streamlined behind-the-scenes systems without reworking or wasting time and money.

Our focus is on restoring your systems & funnel flow to ace your client delivery. Working through the ins & outs of systems is an acquired taste and one I’ve been blessed with sharing with fellow CEOs, service providers, and strategists recently. It might NOT always be pretty, put together, or ideal but it’s absolutely an exciting roller coaster ride into the unknown.

Troubleshooting on the fly or in a time crunch is mega stress (no doubt) but the beauty that comes out of the ability to resolve something is unexplainable. Being able to create the glue that holds the foundation together is more than satisfying.

We are processes and systems people through and through. We love uncovering, organizing, and connecting all the steps in a way that makes sense — as well as maintaining and improving processes and systems so they continually support team members and the team’s desired outcomes.

No matter where your business stands – there IS a path for you and we are here to help uncover it so you can get back to what you love.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Everyone wants that night & day to glow up but the gray area that stands between ‘the now’ and ‘the ideal’ sometimes is just too foggy.

So, I want to encourage you – whatever course, product, or coach that you keep going back to, indulging in their content, reading their sales page, and dreaming if you actually just decided to leap – JUST DO IT.

Once I finally decided to purposely set aside the funds to invest in myself, the movement I was missing when I first got started, finally showed itself.

A lot of us get caught up in the “I don’t have extra time” so we don’t invest in ourselves. But what most of us don’t realize is that investing in ourselves GIVES us that support and push we need to create that extra time we never thought we had.

It’s time to stop thinking of yourself as a provider and start thinking of yourself as your OWN client. Start investing in yourself and others will start investing in you.
