Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Gagne.
Hi Erin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey into hormone and longevity medicine really started with my own health. As a nurse practitioner, I was trained in conventional medicine, but over time I began to realize that many of the answers my patients were looking for weren’t being addressed in the traditional model. People were being told their labs were “normal,” yet they still felt exhausted, struggled with weight, had brain fog, low libido, or simply felt like they had lost themselves.
At the same time, I was navigating many of those same frustrations personally. That experience pushed me to start digging deeper into hormones, metabolism, gut health, and the broader drivers of long-term health and vitality. What I discovered was that when you truly optimize hormones, support metabolic health, and address the root causes of dysfunction, people can feel dramatically better—not just symptom-free, but thriving.
That realization led me to start Revive Wellness, which has now evolved into Revive Hormone & Longevity Clinic. What began as a small practice focused on helping patients feel better has grown into a comprehensive clinic dedicated to hormone optimization, metabolic health, and longevity-focused care.
Today, my work is centered around helping both women and men regain their energy, confidence, and overall health through personalized medicine. I’m passionate about educating patients—especially around topics like perimenopause, metabolism, and hormone balance—because so many people have been told their symptoms are just part of aging when they’re actually treatable.
My mission is simple: to help people not just live longer, but live better
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Building a business in healthcare—especially in a space like hormone optimization—comes with a unique set of challenges.
One of the biggest hurdles has been the stigma around hormone therapy. For many years, hormones have been misunderstood or even feared because of outdated research and misinformation. I spend a lot of time educating patients that when hormone therapy is done correctly and individualized, it can be incredibly safe and life-changing. But changing that narrative takes time, and sometimes it means challenging long-held beliefs in both patients and the traditional medical community.
Another challenge is the reality of practicing in a healthcare system where people understandably expect insurance to cover everything because they pay so much for their premiums. Unfortunately, the type of proactive, personalized care that truly helps people get well and stay well often doesn’t fit neatly into the insurance model. Insurance is largely designed around sick care, not optimization, prevention, or longevity.
Because of that, I made the decision early on to build a practice that prioritizes time with patients, deeper testing, education, and individualized treatment plans. That model allows us to truly focus on helping people feel better and improve their long-term health, but it also requires a lot of patient education so people understand the difference between traditional care and what we do.
Like most entrepreneurs, I’ve also had to learn how to balance being both a provider and a business owner. Those are two completely different skill sets, and there has been a lot of learning along the way—from building a team to creating systems and making difficult leadership decisions.
But every challenge has reinforced why I started this work in the first place. When you see patients regain their energy, their confidence, their mental clarity, and their quality of life, it makes every obstacle worth
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am the founder of Revive Hormone & Longevity Clinic, a medical practice focused on helping both women and men optimize their hormones, metabolism, and overall health so they can feel and perform their best at every stage of life.
Our practice specializes in hormone optimization, thyroid health, and metabolic health. A large portion of our work centers around helping women navigate perimenopause and menopause, as well as supporting men with testosterone optimization and metabolic health. We also incorporate advanced lab testing, gut health evaluation, and lifestyle medicine to address the root causes of symptoms rather than simply masking them.
One thing that really sets our clinic apart is that we stay in our lane. We are very clear about what we do well: hormones, thyroid health, metabolic health, and helping patients understand how their lifestyle choices impact those systems. Rather than chasing every new trend in medicine, we focus on what is supported by science and what consistently works for patients. That clarity allows us to deliver thoughtful, personalized care that actually moves the needle for people.
Another thing that differentiates us is the level of personalization and time we dedicate to each patient. Traditional healthcare often forces providers into short appointments and reactive care. Our model allows us to take a deeper look at the whole person—hormones, metabolism, lifestyle, and nervous system regulation—so we can create individualized treatment plans that support long-term health and vitality.
Education is also a huge part of our brand. There is so much misinformation surrounding topics like perimenopause, hormone therapy, and metabolic health. Through our clinic, our social platforms, and my podcast Peri Chats, I focus on breaking down complex medical topics so patients can better understand their bodies and make informed decisions about their health.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is that Revive has become a place where patients truly feel heard. Many of the people who come to us have spent years being told their symptoms are “normal” or that nothing is wrong. Helping them regain their energy, confidence, mental clarity, and quality of life is the most rewarding part of what we do.
At the end of the day, our mission is simple: to help people not just live longer, but live better
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding the right mentor and building a strong network has been one of the most important parts of my growth, both personally and professionally. My biggest piece of advice is to be intentional about who you surround yourself with. Look for people who are a few steps ahead of you in areas where you want to grow—whether that’s business, leadership, or personal development.
One thing that has worked well for me is putting myself in rooms where those people already exist. That might be through masterminds, conferences, professional groups, or mentorship programs. It can feel uncomfortable at first, but proximity to people who are thinking bigger and doing things differently can completely change how you see what’s possible.
Another lesson I’ve learned is that mentorship doesn’t always look the way you expect. Sometimes it’s a formal mentor relationship, but often it’s learning from several different people who each bring something unique—whether that’s clinical expertise, business strategy, leadership skills, or mindset.
I also believe networking works best when it comes from a place of curiosity and genuine connection rather than just trying to get something from someone. Ask thoughtful questions, be open to learning, and focus on building real relationships over time.
Lastly, don’t underestimate the value of being around people who challenge you to grow. The mentors and communities that have had the biggest impact on me are the ones that push me to think bigger, take more ownership, and step more fully into leadership. Those relationships can be incredibly transformative.
