Hi Kenneth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started flooring when I was a junior in high school and never stopped. I got to where I am today by pure determination and effort.
Lots and lots of time spent in the trade. Going on a decade now
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Business has always been pretty smooth, starting out on my own 4-5 years ago was slow, but over time after building contacts the work has picked up to a very steady pace. My hardest struggle was always getting good employees, I’m blessed with the helpers I have now.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We specialize in anything relating to hardwood floors and hardwood floors only. We also do subfloor and structor work, level concrete for hardwood flooring install.
We do custom homes with features such as medallion, borders, patterns, or anything one can imagine. If you ask for it we can make it happen. Want a massive marlin or drawing Inlayed into your floor no problem.
We work with anything from common oak to hard to find exotics!
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
The only part of my business I would relate luck to is some of the amazing contacts I have ran into. Other than that luck has nothing to do with success swinging hammers!
