Hi Khadejah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi, my name is Khadejah Hicks I am a serial Entrepreneur, Girl Boss, Body Contour Specialist, and CEO of Body By Lux. LLC. I always knew I wanted to be my own boss as a little girl. My passion is to help others by making them feel their best. After high school, I moved to Atlanta Ga, where I obtained an Associates’ degree in Fashion Merchandising.

While studying for my Bachelor’s degree in Business I came across Body Sculpting and fell in love with art and technology. Watching someone suffering from cellulite or extra skin gain their confidence back after a couple of treatments is everything to me.

That’s when I decided to open Body By Lux, offering luxury services giving women and men the opportunity to change the way they see themselves without going under the knife or downtime.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road. On this journey, I’ve had many struggles. In the beauty industry getting people to trust that the non-invasive treatment I provide works and that I’m not a miracle worker but with time and dedication you would definitely see major results and enhance your curves and confidence.

On this journey, I’ve learned that being a business owner is not just a title but a way of living. There will be many days where you have to be everything in your business the CEO, the assistant, and the janitor to keep things moving forward but at the end of the day when it is a passion to make each and every client that comes through those doors feel special and look good then every struggle is worth it.

I have always told myself if my client walks out with a smile on his or her face and has gained more confidence then I know I have done my job.

Body By Lux, LLC is a non-invasive beauty and body sculpting studio. We specialize in transforming your body with no downtime. Helping clients get rid of stubborn body fat. We offer an array of luxury services such as Laser Lipo, Cavitation, RF Skin Tightening, Stretch Mark and Camouflage treatment, Wood therapy, and Butt and Breast Enhancement.

We are most known for our transformations using our cavitation treatment. What sets us apart from others, we offer monthly subscriptions for the price of one while getting to know our clients on a personal level offering them treatments that fit their needs. We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success can be defined in many ways, I look at success as setting goals and completing them no matter how big or small they may be. Putting your energy towards something you want and going after it is major. A lot of people talk about what they want to do and never do it so actually pushing forward to accomplish that dream or goal is a success.
