Hi Trisha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Started selling residential real estate at the end of 2007 in a down market, which taught a great work ethic. Business increased every year until I had to make a choice to hire help. Was given the opportunity to buy into a local Keller Williams franchise in 2010, where I formed a real estate team and grew to the #1 selling team at Keller Williams for years. In 2023 I sold my shares in Keller Williams and became the first Compass team to join in the Savannah & Bluffton area, where we remain today. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
getting licensed right before the 2008 Housing crisis and global financial crisis was a challenge, as is every different real estate market change. Ive always said that real estate will keep you humble. If you stay open minded to change and willing to be a continual learner you will flourish

Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Most people confuse comfort with safety, but staying still can be the riskiest move of all.
I’ve taken plenty of meaningful risks. Becoming a mom as a young woman and still choosing to build, invest, and keep going was a risk. Entering real estate without a safety net was a risk. Scaling a team, taking on overhead, investing in property during uncertain markets, and expanding into new territories were all risks. None of them were reckless. Each one was backed by numbers, demand, timing, and a clear exit strategy.
I tend to believe risk compounds in both directions. Avoiding it too aggressively limits growth. Taking it without discipline destroys it. The goal is not to avoid risk. The goal is to manage it better than everyone else in the room and to make decisions from data, not fear.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that confidence comes after action, not before it. Every meaningful step forward in my life and business came from choosing progress over comfort and trusting my ability to adapt when conditions changed. That mindset has served me far better than waiting for certainty.
