Hi JBL, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
A Jonesboro local who lives to see the other sides of life. To stay content has never been my mindset, my momma made a way with 3 kids before 19 so, who am I to make excuses. So Growing up I made Connections, talked to successful business owners, took their word to heart. I let the world influence me to make me the man I am today. With that, I went seeking work in low voltage.I eventually Found a company willing to work with me and help build me, and set me up with life on the road. SmarterSolutions. This opportunity helped put me in a position to grow not only my perspective on different living but also help expand my creativity seeing the different ways of art. Anytime I go anywhere in the country , I enjoy talking to the locals. Makes me feel like I’m continuously gaining a friend Weather it’s small talk or deep conversation, it allows me to understand what it is like to be from there. Learn their knowledge, what they know, share their love of theirs City. And as life goes on and I continue my career, I’ll
Keep gaining my understanding of our world, the hidden beauties , the unique minds that shape it, the passionate who care for it, all of it. Which leads up to where I’m at now, soul deep in the love for music and the craft. Putting out what I love to do, with what the teachings of different styles. Just gotta keep watching:)
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I had a daughter that changed me from drug dealer to role model. Grew up poor but I eventually help make myself stable
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I love to make music, I work in low voltage which is my career. But as a hobby I do music, which nowadays I hope is what I am known for.
What were you like growing up?
Grew up in a big household. I’m the oldest of 6 kids, and the pressure has never been light. Raising kids that weren’t mine.
Lost a couple of friends and family members to life’s change of fate.
