Hi Maria, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Nine years ago, I walked into a little flower shop with more than 25 years of history in the Bluffton community, simply looking for a part-time job. I started as a florist’s assistant, learning the art of flowers, design, and customer care. Over time, the owner noticed my dedication and work ethic, and our relationship grew beyond co-workers—we became close.
One day, she shared something that changed my life: she told me I was the person she had been waiting for to take over her shop when the time came. Years later, that moment arrived. She decided it was time to sell, and I was blessed with the opportunity to become the next caretaker of this beloved shop.
Looking back, I see God’s hand in every part of this journey. He guided me to ask for a job here, planted a seed in my boss’s heart, and aligned everything so beautifully. Today, three years later, I am humbled and honored to continue serving the community through this flower shop—carrying on its legacy with love, creativity, and faith.
What makes this even more special is that it continues to be a family-owned business. I have the blessing of working side by side with my husband, my son, my niece, and a wonderful team that I consider family as well. Together, we pour our hearts into every arrangement, honoring the past while blooming into the future.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. When I first started working here, I also had another job, and it took sacrifice, time, and effort to learn and grow. What began as a simple hobby soon turned into a true passion, and through dedication I discovered a deep love for this craft and the joy it brings to others.

We are a family-owned flower shop dedicated to creating meaningful floral arrangements with the highest standards of quality and care. What makes us unique is the effort we put into sourcing only the freshest, most beautiful flowers and our commitment to ensuring satisfaction not only for those receiving the arrangements but also for those placing the order.
Our greatest joy is hearing the wonderful feedback from our clients—knowing they recognize the quality of our products and services means everything to us. We are known for our intentional designs, where every detail is thoughtfully cared for. Whether simple or elaborate, we focus on elegance, quality, and artistry, no matter the price point.
What we are most proud of is carrying on the legacy of our flower shop within the community. The trust people place in us, often in their most important and heartfelt moments, is something we value deeply, and we are honored to continue that tradition every day. And also to keep the legacy of those who paved the way and allowed us to be here.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What we love best about our city is the sense of community. Bluffton has such a warm, welcoming spirit, and we feel truly blessed to be part of people’s lives during their most meaningful moments. From weddings to memorials, birthdays to new beginnings, our work lets us connect with families in ways that feel personal and lasting. We also love the charm of the Lowcountry—the marshes, the moss, the beauty of the seasons—it is an inspiration for our designs.
