Daily Inspiration: Meet Nichole Choice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nichole Choice.

Hi Nichole, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started my career as an intern at MTV News and since then, I’ve had the opportunity to explore the radio industry (both local as well as the syndicate), Nickelodeon, and two talent/literary agencies in Beverly Hills, California.

I am also an actor as well as a singer/songwriter. I’ve written a few scripts. I like to paint. I’m building a home studio. I also enjoy photography. Acting is definitely my first professional love!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been unpredictable and eclectic, but quite smooth. I’m excited to see what the future holds!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My acting opportunities have been tough to come by, especially since relocating to Savannah. I’m interested in producing a series of film festivals that would include a question and answer with film stars.

I spend most of my time during the week running a music studio where we have maybe a little over 100 students, something we built in less than 6 months.

What sets me apart from others is my diversity of experience. From film, both behind the scenes as well as on camera, on television, and on radio, plus an early background in dance, I’m ready for anything that comes my way!

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Great risk, great rewards: yes indeed!

I’ve approached A-listers with scripts I’ve written, held spontaneous conversations with artists whilst out and about without letting shyness get the best of me, and I also reach out via social media.

My advice is always to go for it, within reason of course! Don’t spend your rent money, because the concept of a starving artist is an unhealthy one.
