Today, we’d like to introduce you to Shamant Bagrecha.

Shamant Bagrecha

Hi Shamant, we are so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
A lot of the movies and music I listen to led me here. I always found something about the visual arts very beautiful and captivating.

As I learned different things in this field, I have always wanted to take my art and make it seen. With it, my love for the craft of making movies and making them look good has always mesmerized me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A smooth road, not entirely, firstly, it would be convincing my family to let me pursue this path, and getting the right training with the resources I had at the time.

Working on your art means constantly pushing yourself to do better, and the feeling of never being good enough always lingers over.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I make creative pieces of work, that sort of come from a way that I see things. That I find unique and that is charming. I do general motion design, be it 2D or 3D.

But I specialize in composing, and the process of making something look real and believably present on screen is something I absolutely love! As well as some dark, sort of majestic visuals. I am most proud of having a big versatility in this field, where I feel like I can handle a variety of different jobs if needed! And I think that is also what sets me apart!

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was a weird kid. Always knew that, I listened to weird bass music and generally didn’t like the more mainstream pop.

I do appreciate it, and that people enjoy it, I do too at times, but I do like the more real music that comes from an artist, the same way I try to apply that to my art. I love making friends and meeting people, especially since I have learned so much about other cultures and how we all exist in our own ways!
