Daily Inspiration: Meet Tiffany K

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany K.

Hi Tiffany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey into this work has been shaped by life, healing, and a deep calling to serve. I’m an Air Force veteran, a mother of three, a survivor of sexual assault and adoption trauma, as well as someone who walked away from a relationship that neither of us were truly ready to hold with the grace, communication, listening, learning, and true intention it needed. That breaking point led me into a season of sacred rebuilding—one that brought me back to God, back to the Earth, and back to myself. In that stillness, “Nourishing Tea with Black Honey” on substack, was born—a sanctuary for spiritual reflection, soul-deep nourishment, and Earth-rooted healing. Through this space, I began to share what had helped me heal: breathwork, prayer, herbal medicine, and the slow, holy return to presence.

I now serve as a trauma and recovery practitioner, herbalist, and birth doula, offering a personalized collection called “Trauma-Informed Breathwork and Herbalism”. It includes custom breath practices, guided meditations, and herbal remedies designed to help gently release stored emotions and reconnect the body with God, the Earth, and the Self in a safe, nurturing way. I also offer a curated list of essential oils to support trauma processing and emotional release.

Currently, I’m pursuing a Bachelor in Human Consciousness and Potential, with a Bachelor in Behavioral Health Science with an Emphasis in Trauma not being far behind—and I don’t plan to stop there. I hope to continue on to a master’s or doctorate level, specializing even more deeply in trauma work. My goal is to become a trauma therapist and hold space not only clinically, but spiritually, emotionally, and somatically—creating healing pathways that honor the whole person. Whether through one-on-one support, writing, or simply offering a place to rest and breathe. My soul’s mission is to honor being a Doula to becoming; to honor both Spirit and vessel—to care for what is eternal and what is earthly, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made, a holy union of heaven and Earth. To offer the gentle reminder of God’s holy design woven within each of us. For the Earth is our beginning—formed by the hands of the Creator—and our bodies are vessels molded from dust, brought to life by the breath of God Himself. The Lord breathed into the soil, and from it, we became living souls. How sacred it is to know that the fingerprints of Heaven are etched into our very being, that the Earth cradles us as both home and reflection, and that our breath, our dreams, and our presence carry the memories of Eden and the heart of our Heavenly Father.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been anything but smooth—but it has been holy.

My journey has been marked by deep valleys: trauma, sexual assault, emotional pain, isolation, and seasons of complete uncertainty. I’ve walked through a relationship that unraveled both of us, motherhood without a clear map, and healing that didn’t come all at once—but through slow, sacred surrender. I’ve known what it feels like to lose yourself, and then slowly, prayerfully, rebuild.

As an Air Force veteran and a mother of three boys, I’ve had to navigate rebuilding not just my life, but my sense of self—while tending to the needs of others, including my children. Returning to school, while holding space for my clients and my children hasn’t been easy. But in all of it, I’ve learned that struggle can be soil. That pain can be a place of planting. It was in those difficult seasons that my work was born—not from theory, but from lived experience and deep dependence on God. Every offering I create, every breathwork session, every herbal remedy or prayerful reflection, flows from a place I’ve walked through myself.

The road hasn’t been smooth. But it has been sacred. It’s made me who I am: tender, resilient, emotion-full, Spirit-led, and rooted in something deeper than fear. And I wouldn’t trade the intimacy I’ve found with God in those hard places for anything.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At its core, my work is about sacred restoration. I help people return—to God, to the Earth, and to themselves. As a trauma and recovery practitioner, herbalist, birth doula, and writer, I specialize in creating spiritually grounded, trauma-informed spaces that offer healing to the body, mind, and soul.

Through my platform *Nourishing Tea with Black Honey*, I offer reflections, devotional writing, and sacred education rooted in Christ, soil, breath, and emotional truth. I also offer *Trauma-Informed Breathwork and Herbalism*—a personalized collection of guided meditations, breathwork, herbal recipes, and essential oil guidance designed to support trauma release and spiritual reconnection. Everything I create is prayerfully and intentionally made to meet people where they are, with gentleness and grace. I also offer “I Am” nature inspired, affirmation/Intention Cards free for download.

I’m known for the way I weave together emotional depth, spiritual truth, and embodied healing. People come to me, or stumble across my platforms, when they need a place to land softly—when they’re tired of performing, when they’re ready to heal not just intellectually but soulfully. I hold space that feels sacred and real. Space where tears are welcome, breath is prayer, and nothing has to be rushed.

What sets my work apart is its integration of faith and embodiment. I don’t separate the spiritual from the physical—I honor both. I walk with people through trauma not just with tools and knowledge, but with the sacred understanding that healing is holy. That we were designed by a God who formed us from soil and filled us with breath—and that our healing must honor that divine design.

I’m currently pursuing my Bechelor in Human Consciousness and Potential and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health Science with an Emphasis in Trauma is not too far behind; I plan to continue on to earn my master’s or doctorate in trauma therapy. My deepest desire is to continue weaving together the clinical, the spiritual, and the sacred in a way that’s deeply human, deeply holy, and deeply healing.

What I’m most proud of is that I get to create spaces where people feel safe enough to soften. Where they are reminded they were never too far from God, never too broken to begin again. That is the heart of my work—sacred, slow, and rooted in love.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Just this: healing is not a destination. It’s a return.
A return to stillness.
To the presence of God.
To the wisdom of your own breath.
To the sacred ground beneath your feet.

If you’re in a season of transition, unraveling, or quiet searching, I want you to know that your softness is not a weakness. Your slowness is not a setback. Sometimes the most holy things grow in hidden places. My prayer is simply this: that wherever you are on your journey, you find spaces that feel safe enough to exhale. To remember that you were made with care. That your healing matters. That the ground you were formed from and the God who breathed life into you are both ready to meet you again.
