Andrew, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I got started pressure washing years ago down in Florida just for friends and family. When I came to Georgia, I got a side job pressure washing for a company here in town. After a while, I knew that I could do more for myself and struck out on my own. My business grew through word of mouth. My work ethic and attention to detail kept jobs coming in regularly. Now we are continuing to grow without losing our focus on the things that got us here, which are our work ethic and attention to detail.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I would say the struggle so far has been continuing to push my company to stay at the front of the pack as far as equipment and knowledge of the industry go. We strive to learn the latest techniques; we continue to test new equipment and new chemicals so that we can put out the best and most cost-effective product for our customers.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Alagator Pressure Washing?
Alagator Pressure Washing is owned and operated by local veterans and first responders. We soft wash and pressure wash everything from restaurants to homes to fleet trucks. What sets us apart is our staff. Because we all have military and first responder backgrounds we have been trained in the art of attention to detail. No detail is too small. That helps us put out cleaner and brighter results. We will continue to be proud of our staff and their willingness to provide the best cleaning for any job. Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned in this business is to be good to people. Word-of-mouth advertising is how we’ve grown thus far, and that’s because of the relationships we build with out clients.
