Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Franco.
Hi Angela, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After loosing my husband in 2015, and becoming a single mom, I had lost passion for my current career of Restaurant Management. I also knew I’d need more balance to my life as a single mother. After receiving quite literally a life changing facial experience, I had found a new passion. I quit my job and went back to school full-time. In 2017 I began my esthetics career. From the very beginning, my goal was to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for, a place where their concerns are addressed while they’re able to escape into a tranquil, restorative state. After living in Massachusetts my entire life,
I was also now ready for yet another change. I found myself ready to move and have a fresh start in a new state. I decided to move to Georgia in 2020. After a vacation my son and I had taken, I completely fell in love with coastal Georgia and knew it was where I belonged. After a couple of years of working for a local day spa in Hinesville, it was time to start curating my vision. I’ve now been in Jesup, Ga for 4 years building Revitalize Skin & Wellness to the glory that it is.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It sadly has not been a smooth road! Building a business is always going to have many struggles and many obstacles. One of my biggest struggles has been building a trusted reputation in a small town. I came to the small town of Jesup, and it was clear I was not from here! However, I stayed determined and led by faith, believing that I’d succeed. Trying to fit in with locals in a small town and getting them to trust you with their skin is no easy task! Within a year, I had more clients than I could handle on my own, and soon found it was time to grow add staff. The support we now have and the trust we’ve gained has been such an incredible blessing.
