Exploring Life & Business with Chanel Randolph of Beautiful Creations by Chanel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chanel Randolph. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Chanel Randolph

Beautiful Creations by Chanel, Incorporated was developed while Chanel was working as a customer service manager at Walmart when she was touched by the story of a mother not being able to purchase paper for her daughter in 2008.

Their 501(c)(3) nonprofit status was granted in February 2012 to expand the Tools for School initiative, providing over 500 bookbags with school supplies to children in Valdosta (Orla West, Hudson Dockett, Park Chase, Brittany Woods, and Azalea Wood), Quitman, Adel, Moody AFB, Lakeland, and her hometown of Orlando, Florida (Tools for School: Teacher Edition).

The vision for Beautiful Creations by Chanel has expanded by implementing community initiatives such as Change for Prosperity Mentoring Program, C.O.A.T.S (Covering Others Always Through Service) Drive, Rags to Riches sending seniors to prom all expenses paid for, A Beautiful Christmas to allow kids to experience holiday cheer with gifts, music, and laughter, and the Beautiful Creations by Chanel Scholarship for graduating seniors.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My nonprofit success was not an overnight process, but it is all worth it. The lives that we have touched, the relationships we have built, and the legacy I will leave for my son with the continued vision of serving our communities. The struggles have been fundraising, awareness, and volunteers. Every year our initiatives are fulfilled, and children are happy so we are forever grateful.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about Beautiful Creations by Chanel?
This year, thanks to you, we furnished 1000+ book bags with school supplies to kids across Lowndes, Valdosta, Cook, Lanier, and Brooks counties. Additionally, we covered all expenses for a high school senior attending Valdosta High School Prom, awarded a $500 scholarship to another senior, supplied Thanksgiving meals to 16 families, distributed 175 new hoodies for our youth, gave over 247 kids and 90 adults Christmas toys, and supported four young ladies on their life journey, making a positive impact in their lives.

We are extremely proud and blessed that in 2023, Beautiful Creations by Chanel became a partnering agency with Greater Valdosta United Way.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the home time feel and how my neighbors are willing to lend a hand. I’m originally from Orlando, FL, and moved to Valdosta in 2005, while my father is a retired Chief Master sergeant at Moody Air Force Base. In the bigger cities, it a little harder to make a large impact.
