Exploring Life & Business with Kiyana Wright of The Beauty Blueprint

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiyana Wright

Hi kiyana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I opened The Beauty Blueprint in February of 2019. At the time, I was a junior at Georgia Southern University to obtain my Bachelor’s in Business. I started a business on a whim, not even realizing the impact it would have on my life. I accepted clients the very next day after taking a lash course. I would market myself verbally at school, online, email marketing & word of mouth. My services were very inexpensive, due to being new in the industry. However, I was fully booked every single week when I wasn’t in class or working part time at Walmart Supercenter in Statesboro. Within that same year, I gradually increased my prices. I also began selling cosmetic retail products within the first year, which has been great too. I have relocated over the years from Statesboro to Pooler, back to Statesboro. Every year I had been blessed beyond measures to be fully booked with clients & product sales have increased tremendously over the years. In 2023, I decided to invest into a brick in mortar business, consisting of salon suites, which is where I reside now. I recently just celebrated 6 years as a business owner. I plan on continuously investing in myself for years to come.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. Lol. There are plenty of ups & downs when running a business. Some of the struggles I faced were having to learn to manage finances, juggle school, work, & business, as well as still find time for myself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Beauty Blueprint?
The Beauty Blueprint is exclusively a lash bar. However, I offer face/body waxing & lip services as well. I specialize in lash extensions, which is what I am most known for. I sell all of the products needed to actually do lash extensions, too. Personally, I’d say my drive sets me apart. I’ve been consistent & dedicated to my craft for the past 6 years. I am proud to have built a brand alone & to see it flourish daily. As for the readers, I would love to service you all one day.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
The beauty industry is ALWAYS evolving. Over the next 5-10 years, I know there will be changes within trends, styles, & products too.

Pricing:

  • Lash Extensions $125-150
  • Cluster Lashes $30-50
